Just out of curiosity, good or bad? Actually fun to play or all hype? Still too early to tell?

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

until it gets a PC release, i don't really care about it =/

In a few moments you will have an experience that will seem completely real. It will be the result of your subconscious fears transformed to your conscious awareness.

If people still hype it half a yaear after the initial release and it actually gained players instead of loosing 90% of it's player base, I might be inclined to care enough to play a demo once a PC version has been released... Straight

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

I enjoyed the beta very much. It's pretty good fun.

I plan on buying it later this month, after I've read a few reviews of what the later content looks like.

Best Meltdown Ever.

Ain't about that... It's about the sucktacular thumbstick controls (fantastic for racing) that are so horrible for FPS games.

Also, I have a 360, don't want a new PS4 or XBone.

overhyped then?

also, as alpheias said "one could say it was destined for mediocrity from the beginning".

Another thing to mention. If aesthetics are important to you, the art direction and design in this game is excellent.

My wife came home with it this afternoon, so I have been playing it much of the day. Very enjoyable thus far.

I'm not too good with FPS, but have played a little Halo, CS:GO, and a couple shooty RPGs like Bioshock. I am interested in trying Destiny out, but not in buying a PS4.

From what I have heard in my gaming circle, Destiny is a very polished shooter with smooth responsive controls, but innovates in virtually no way and is very restrictive in terms of the PvP available. The impressions I have gotten from peers is pretty much universally postive, but not a strong positive, if that makes sense.

you get used to the FPS on the gamepad.. other people also have the same disability.

You don't get used to it if you keep playing FPS games on the PC with mouse-look. It's not a disability to be accustomed to a far more natural interface for looking around. VR headsets might change that.

yeah if you are used to the PC controls. it would take some time getting accustomed to the pad... lucky i dont have that problem.. i almost exclusively play MMOs on PC.

That's why I use a gamepad where ever I can even on PC. Kingdom of Amalur, Skyrim, Borderlands 2, etc. I just wish I had bought a controller more akin to Xbox 360 layout rather than a playstation clone. Playstation style controllers always feel uncomfortable to me, especially that fact that the left stick is always low and to the left, seems like that wears out my hands faster like that. Xbox styles, by contrast, don't feel so out of place and I can generally use that kind of setup for longer than 30 minutes without feeling like my hands need a rest.
