I read an article about Notch's PC setup. His startup company is apparently worth more than $2 billion and he still uses an IBM Model M keyboard from the 90s.

Anyways, as long as there are clear-cut restrictions allowing Mojang to keep charge of development it might be OK but the last thing I'd like to see are content patches released exclusively on XBL.

That picture of the IBM Model M keyboard gave me a ping of nostalgia for the old EDP Department. One stack of keyboards post-noted fixed, and another stack of keyboards post-noted broke.

Anyways, $2 billion is quite a chunk of change even for a giant like Microsoft. The fact that they're willing to spend so much means they think they can make at least $2,000,000,000.01 off of it. I can only imagine what monstrous schemes they have for doing so: paid updates and DRM come to mind.
