It's probably just Tuxford going through a relapse of his button obsession....

I can tell he pushed a different button this time because I was not dropped. I remained online and watched the entire solar system I was in vanish from local except for one dude who's blue to me and in a totally different country. Coincidentally, this was the only guy who was blue to me in that system. I then proceeded to check the rest of my intel channels, where none of my blues had been dropped. Clearly, this is all about me.

Why can't something like that happen to me when I've got a Machariel solo-pointed in my Guristas Ferox?

Actually, funny story. This did happen to me once in Irmalin. I was hunting a Tengu that was hunting corp mates and we fought him and two of his mates in Myrmidons. Anyway, the Tengu pilot disappeared from local but we still had the Tengu pointed, so we killed his mates in Myrmidons first (after they killed a few of our small frigs we were throwing at them to keep them busy while reinforcements were scratching their arses) and then finished the Tengu, scanned down the pod, and got that too, all before he could reconnect.

It was a pretty damn good fleet fight, actually. HUN reloaded guys, definitely not terribad PVP'ers but that day, they lost (from memory) roughly 2bil of stuff to our loss of 400mil. It was pleasing. Still, gf's all round, no hard feelings. HUNs are pretty cool to fight, even when they're the ones winning.

Ugh, and now I'm remembering another epic battle we had with Puritans members from HUNS. I was flying around in a cyno Gnosis in Irmalin suspect, and HUNs would fight us but only in numbers and they wouldn't aggress on station or gates. Anyway, I forgot I was suspect, and sat on the undock with a Puritans Gnosis sitting right next to me thinking, she'll be right, he won't do ****.

Then, he aggressed!! It was such a surprise and I hadn't noticed him yellow box me cuz I was off with the ******* fairies. Anyway, I fought back and I was on SYJ coms going, "heh, ner ner, I just got Huns to fight," and I was kicking this guy's can and then, TENGU!!

So suddenly, I'm tanking a Gnosis and Tengu, and my Gnosis is built for tanking, cuz cyno, I remember that fit well - 150K ehp armour, and no, I won't tell you how to do that :p

Anyway, no one cared that I was fighting a Gnosis but all of a sudden, everyone from RIGID and SYJ all get excited the moment I say "Tengu" and Sai Talos yells at me, "LIGHT YOUR CYNO WE HAZ TRIAGE ARCHON I WILL SAVE YOU!!"

So me being me I go, hell no, you're not whoring on my Gnosis kill, I worked hard for this (poker face), I'll kill this then cyno you in for the Tengu Twisted

So actually, I did kill the Gnosis. Mine was fit with meta 4 blasters, his with T2 autos, and he was 6 years older than me, and I was tanking him and the Tengu. Once he died, I popped the cyno, as promised, and Sai being Sai got confused and thought that the Gnosis that died was me, and didn't even bother looking for me for reps, so the Tengu finished me off.

Meanwhile, as the rest of the blob was jumping in to whore on the Tengu, I was in station reshipping to a Helios, cuz it was all I had there. I had already taken a few shots at the Tengu before it finished me but, being the hero I am from time to time, I undocked, released the drone, and sicced it on the Tengu for more whoring while I proceeded to collect the remaining valuable isotopes from my Gnosis wreck.

It's a tale I like to tell the newbros when they go "but my skillpoints!!!", and I've got the killboard records to prove it as well.

Devs don't read the forum. They have homeless people read for them, and pay them with cups of coffee

Could have sworn Iceland had a near-0% homelessness rate.
Considering that the official unemployment rate in Iceland is 4.4% and falling, it stands to wager that the homelessness rate is probably lower.

Arming and employing the downtrodden to give them a sense of purpose and worth is a mark of a truly civilized people.
Plus, Vikings went everywhere that other Europeans think they found, first.

I'm not saying it's Vikings.... but it's totally Vikings....

Pfft, it's OBVIOUSLY just gas pockets on Venus catching sunlight and refracting it towards the moon creating the ILLUSION of Vikings.

I would like to inform you that I'm sitting quite comfortable in a chair behind a desk in a rather large heated room situated in my own house, sipping good cognac and having some freshly made home baked snacks at arms reach.
Although I have to admit, CCP starting to pay me with quality dark roasted coffee sounds appealing. I will bring it up with them...Cool
