They are operating as they always have, subject to certain risks, but also with the assistance of CONCORD which makes ganking more difficult to pull off and rarer, as we would expect it to be. What this does is allow new players, and PvE focused vets, to operate in highsec without needing to PvP fit their ships. You just need to tank the 20 seconds until your CONCORD allies show up. That's how highsec is designed, and that's how it should continue to function.

And I happen to think that more mature gamers will realize that forcing new players into highsec wars will just lead to awful massacres and quitting the game, as well as giving even more sway to the big blue nullsec donuts. No thanks.

A person is defined in Eve but the action that he primarily engages in. For me that is highsec PvE. For Jenn that appears to be low/null PvE, not highsec mission running.

There isn't really a right and a wrong. It's about having fun - and I find shooting incursion crosses with other people to be a lot of fun. Some people find PvP a lot of fun. Eve is big enough for everyone. What we don't need is to butcher the game mechanics to force everyone in highsec into wars they don't want.

Oh dear....and posting that from one of your alts! So far your wild accusations have made me 4 billion isk today. If you keep it up I will set up a kickback scheme with you. Maybe Mittens has some extra isk he would like to send my way? He could be an alt of mine, dontcha know.

Your real life examples are largely irrelevant because we arent discussing RL. I'm happy to debate that with you in another thread but for now back to the topic at hand.

In game yes you could claim to be either of those two things, i would then move on to assess the worth of your suggestion based on your experience of the topic being discussed. Currently I count Jenns advice as worth a shed load more than yours because Jenn hasn't done olympic level contortions to avoid answering questions or resorted to halfassed whines about peoples posting styles.

No one here cares about your book lol.

The point here is that people can see right through you and your attempts to spin makes you even more transparent. Your need to imagine that people who hold the same opinion I do are 'trying to force people to pvp' is just icing on that particular cake. As i said earlier, a more mature person wouldn't need to do that, they'd be able to understand that people can believe something without having anything to gain (or lose) from it.

That being said, I do believe that your (to borrow Darek's excellent term) 'Olympic Level Contortions' here do demonstrate a personal agenda that you then try to mask behind the curtain of "think of the children (noobs)". I don't have anything to gain or lose by CCP fixing this bad/uneven game mechanic (In know how to use D-scan and a mwd+cloak even in high sec, a war dec just means switch to using a mission set up that can evade easily, in my case Ishtar+Tengu).

You, on the other hand, seem to very much have something to lose here.
