Interest In A Garden Complex?

I seek to know whether there would be interest in a public garden for capsuleers to visit. If it were to be constructed and made available, there would be a variety of sections each with a different function and associated level of public access. While the sections would have differentiated degrees of public access, there would of course be limitations for the entirety of the complex. Nobody would be allowed entrance that proclaims loyalty to the usual list of undesirables such as the Sabik cult, Angels, etcetera. There would be a chapel area present for special services or peaceful worship and study. No heretical usage of such areas would be permitted, of course. There would also naturally be areas for socializing, as well.

Is this concept of interest or is the cluster sufficiently filled with public complexes? If so, no harm done - I can keep my facilities for private gatherings.

Places where the faithful and law-abiding capsuleers of the cluster may gather without fear of running into the pirate that ransomed them last week are always welcome.

Hmm.
Does it mean it will be closed for foreigners?

No, there would be areas where foreigners would be allowed to attend. But it would certainly have a watchful security presence that would not hesitate to act according to their own judgment.

My sister would be happy to provide security on our days Kimmy would attend.....

If the complex is modified and opened to the public, it is unlikely she would survive the initial creation of a blacklist due to the likelihood of her disturbing the peace.

Normally I venture home or to the Basilica when I feel the urge to get out and spend quiet time near gardens, but a change in venue is always welcome.

Dust mercs are known for surviving a lot of unlikely things. Even more so when they trend towards heavy armor and HMG's

Gardens are dime a dozen - I can think of maybe a few of them who don't have such areas - whether for the enjoyment and leisure of their inhabitants or simple hydroponic operation.

If you plan on making one, I'd advise it being something more specific and unique - I'm afraid the idea of 'keeping undesireables out' simply won't cut it.

I was referencing her 'disturbing the peace' in the sense of rendering it uncomfortable and unpleasant for other guests - not in the sense of actually being dangerous.

The irony here is that odds are it would be Diana making it uncomfortable and unpleasant for others with her usual outbursts, not someone else.

I apologize for being unclear. I was referring to Diana Kim this entire time. My initial comment was intended to convey that people attending in order to 'handle' Kim is unnecessary, because she is unlikely to survive the initial blacklist upon opening.

Fair enough. Considering Miss Osyn's usual commentary and behavior towards Diana on these forums it seemed like it could have referred either to her sister or Diana.

I realized the ease of confusion when I reread my words. Due to these sort of concerns about security and maintaining a pleasant atmosphere, I will be reaching out to others that have more awareness of prominent capsuleer personalities that may become problematic. If possible, I may seek out others to help manage the list of those barred from entrance so as to keep the proper atmosphere when my duties take me elsewhere.

Why does everyone open gardens, fine dining, or dive bars? Where are all the actual clubs?

We can blame Kimmy for everything. I like that plan, it is now all Kimmy's fault.

My colonies have open-roof coffee houses and public plazas. Some of the technicians had formed bands. I pretend I am blind whenever they start playing drums, guitars, fiddles, dulcimers, accordions and harmonicas, as well as dancing in circles, at the dead of the night in their local time zones. Nobody has complained about it yet.

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

I should start a rave again shouldn't I?
Outdoor raves in a garden? This has potential!

Yes, yes you should. The dreary bars and uppity gardens/restaurants get old. Nobody seems to want to have a good time.
