Sorry didnt he just name his own character "Supergay fairy" ? it sounds to me like they're PROMOTING homosexuality. Its not like they banned someone for that name.

If you're offended by the term "supergay" or "Fairy" that is your own problem. I know many gay people who would describe themselves as supergay or a fairy lol

There is a problem when people start dictating what others can and can not say. Especily when they use the guise of a morally elevated position like "im a social worker and ...."

Its very similar to the "N word" and how a lot of black people would use it as a playful term or friendly name. But then you have others who are sitting there telling me i'm evil for using it.



People need to grow up as a whole. It seems not many people were taught that old rhyme.... "Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me"

The longer you tell people how evil these words are... the longer you demonize them... the longer they will remain a symbol of hate. By demanding everyone stop using these "terrible terrible words" you are infact just feeding them with more and more power.

If you feel the word is being used netagively towards you, simply ignore it and realize that person is ignorant because of it. Theres no reason to start some kind of ribbon campaign and demonize the word, because thats just giving that word more power to hurt more people.

I am surprised you support physical violence against children. Why are you promoting messages suggesting mothers should hit and abuse their children?

We see stories in NZ on regular basis about parents who beat their children to death.

It is a shame to see somebody who works with vulnerable young people promote such a message of violence and anger.

Supergay fairy can also mean a fairy that is super cheery or happy, which wouldn't be a suprise, since fairies usually tend to be happy. Even more so, if the mentioned fairy is high on sugar from all the wood flowers she ate.
