Ships having horns?

They're made buy a guy called Zendane. The earlier ones don't have the best audio because he didn't have the best recording equipment, but they're still pretty good. He has since upgraded his recording equipment a few times, and even got a few friends to help him out with his recordings. My personal favorites are Episode 0 - The Jovian Wet Grave, which is at the bottom of the page, and Episode 32 - The Station and the Bazaar. The End of the World readings and the Methods of Torture readings were pretty good, too. But anyway, it's just a suggestion.

Your idea would be fun if it were a holiday-only type of deal. Having these kind of shenanigans going on all the time would just get ridiculous.

Yeah, that's what I was going for- this would be over the top if it was standard on every ship!

I think it could be made into something really fun if it was a holiday-type thing though, so +1 still, just in case a friendly developer sees it and decides to let us have some fun with it P

If you want to honk at someone you can type "Honk" in local, "HONK!!!" If you want to honk loudly.

Ships with a dilatory missile hardpoint (Like a Cormorant) can fit a festival launcher and use the festival fireworks as signals if you desire. Maybe there should be a festival cannon with cherry-bomb like implements for people who's ships have a dilatory turret hardpoint.
