Yes they are. See battleship balance thread for example where the material modification were announced.

You got burned like the guy who spend tons on rigs blueprint when rigs for freighter were announced for example. CCP does not care if you get burned on speculation.

CCP will not reimburse losses incurred due to price fluctuations of market commodities, or the way those prices are averaged and reflected in BPO's.

Sorry buddy, this is one of those times you will have to eat the loss.

Didn't know exactly what you were getting at, until I realised you meant change instead of chance.


Market speculation is all it is, that's the risks you take.

Mineral requirements changing from 10 mil to 62 mil, should have at least made you cautious as that's quite a change.
