Hi folks ,

maybe some more are intrested for that idea to be able to switch from 'local' to 'roaming' dir and vice versa,
so you can use your eve on several pc's and all the settings remain.

from my point of view - it is maybe quite easy, because its just changing a simple path variable,
but i don't know how 'clean' the code is ;)
or using a registry-component for that.

or - if anyone got a 'replacement' idea - I might test it .

Maybe there is already a solution, but searching for 'local' locallow and 'roaming in terms of eve
is amazing 'unhelpful' ;) for this case.

thanks in advance

You could use a syncing service (google drive, dropbox etc) then copy your settings folder to it. then on each PC symlink it to the right place.

This means it would use the same settings files. Though not sure how it would behave when two clients are open and change something at the same time.
