Eve isn't going to end anytime soon, quite likely it will drag on for a few years with the crap releases, corporate hype and Fanfest keggers. Some of us are trying to point out the problems to keep Eve a quality game. I have personally played MMO's that lost touch with their player base, one in particular that exceeds Eve in age of product produced by a major producer. The game is worthless now but still chugging along as "Free to Play" when it was for a long time $30 per expansion and approx $20 a month and worth it.

Players are consumers of a product and service we are entitled to call CCP out on it when even with their claims to want our feedback and having groups like CSM advising them and they short change us on quality, features and content.

For instance one of the most common 'complaint / excuse' from the Devs is about the POS code. Seriously any other software publisher would fork the code in their source management system detach the core from the interface and refactor it or in worse case instances rewrite entire chunks with a dedicated team.

Sadly CCP seems so wrapped up in its own hype that it will take them a huge hit before they get past the Colledge Kid mentality. Personally I have been raising hell about the two most recent expansion and DUST514 debacles not because I'm a hater or unable to face changes if they are really improvements. I have been raising hell because I have enjoyed playing Eve even with the aggravation of senseless ganking, trolls, scams, and griefers.

The glassdoor site cited is a review site for people interested in applying for a company in question, after reading the reviews and paying attention to the dates they where made I'd put them at above average in creditability and agree with OP's conclusion


Question. Who exactly elected you to speak for them?

Jenn aSide's law #4 The guy who perpetually mentions "the player base" as if he's some kind of elected representative is really an anti-social solo type who couldn't organize a family picnic and has no business pretending to speak for other people.



  1. I am a member of the player base, considering I have paid for several years to play the game hence I need not be elected to have a voice, I speak for myself and friends who could not care less to engage with trolls and the self righteous indignant few who have the 'they know best' mindset and can't bear to concede the fact others can and will disagree in addition to have very valid points.
  2. Forming a naive supposition that an individual such as much self has no organizational skills further reinforces the impression that a contrary view and valid assessment is something players such as yourself are unable to either understand or are afraid off being shared
  3. Leadership is often the result of an individual or group daring to confront real or perceived wrongs and being vocal about them even in the face of adversity or persecution of their beliefs, support even if it is silent is still support if they take action.


Trying to chastise or discredit someone by assuming things and then purporting them under auspices of some arbitrary personal law neither devalues arguments made by myself or like minded players nor adds creditability to your arguments.

Simple fact, irregardless of CCP's financials there ARE more than minute few very dissatisfied with parts of recent expansion, perceived or actual higher number of bugs not caught before release, and want the issues addressed.

I would also like to point out I've never made a claim to even represent the corporation or the alliance I belong to, they are aware of my posts some agree, some don't.
