With such approach jaiji will never understand Caldari system of merits. Only those, who ask and think will learn. Those, who make ignorant assumptions just because they are too lazy to learn, are destined to stay ignorant.

Dance puppet, dance! That's what they'd want you to believe! But how many times do systems change hands? And when they do change hands why don't any of the navys actually fortify them against attack more in hot spots of activity? its almost as if they write them off as a loss when they get them....

And honestly, I joined as a privateer. I will fully admit that my motives were less than altruistic. I was there to make an income and to give to myself a trial-by-fire. When have you ever heard of privateers getting command ranks of any kind? That 'Commander' part of any rank means...absolutely nothing! You do not get to command baseliner fleets, you are evaluated based on whichever capsuleer corporation's standards rather than those ranks and finally, you aren't getting any discounts or privileges for it (the lady in the coffeeshop certain wasn't impressed with it). Speak to any fellow within the Empire militaries about your rank and all you get are raised eyebrows.

The ranks mean nothing. It's just a measure of how much favours you had done for the employer, probably to make paperwork simpler after you are done shooting down their enemies out of the sky and inconveniencing them at every turn.

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

Pretty sure he's referring to the Minmatar Militia too..... And the Galante.... and the Amar..... As well as the Caldari Militia..... At least I can say I was. Its a privateer navy after all. Rank and structure don't exactly take an important role at the highest level for a group of volenteers, there's no repercussions for disobeying orders, and a slap on the wrist for inter fighting.

All of it, yeah. I was in the Tribal Liberation Fleet. Joined two other privateer corps affiliated to the Fleet, one of which went turn-coat due to in-fighting (and frankly, the corp did start it but I can't exactly entirely fault their reasoning. I left anyway because I would suffer from cognitive dissonance otherwise), then freelanced again.

What I saw was pretty pointless strategically speaking, not that I really care all too much about that. I was there for targets, and I got my targets. Then there's periods of boredom where large swath of territory fell into Matari 'control' where the only way to make an income is to take out the dirty laundry for the agents, and a distinct lack of capsuleer targets. And there's that period where I am absolutely swimming in capsuleer targets. It goes in cycles, sometimes short and sometimes long. And whenever we do capture territory, absolutely nothing is done on the Empire's end. No consolidation of power or large navies being deployed to watch those places or whatever. The Empires are perfectly content with having us bash each other in the faces and taking down any baseliner fleet too stupid to figure out that it's all a farce.

wait, are you really implying you've never mocked us? Not to mention He's more so mocked the war rather than any group in general. I don't really see any reason to be defensive over this...
