The only major drawback is the crazed notion that the inventory would look so much better if merely rearranged ONE MORE TIME.

While that's some impressive dps and ehp, having no range control at all in lowsec isn't a great idea. If I were to fly an Eris in lowsec I'd go for a kiting fit, I've fought some very impressive kiting Eris, it's surprisingly fast for an interdictor and you can easily surprise people since they usually don't know what to expect. it's also got amazing projection and dps at range with rails.

But dps some 1 else can hold him down I just make it disappear also can kill cruses
And if you have 3 or 4 even bc s will melt to your dps

The only major drawback is the crazed notion that the inventory would look so much better if merely rearranged ONE MORE TIME.

Drop the shield in favor of a scram/web depending on your preference and hull tank that thing.

Same HP and dps, better control.

btw i support the kiting Eris idea. It's very unlikely you're gonna be engaged by anyone or manage to engage anyone not sleeping on their d scan 1v1, so you really need an option for fighting small gangs. Brawling it out usually it's not.

frankly using a dictor to do something a t1 destroyer can do seems like a waste of isk.

Dictors exist to bubble. Yes there are some combat dictors out there but its all a gimmick.

Hahahahahahahahaha.

Hah.

Ha.

@OP: Rail Eris seems pretty decent, unsure how it stands up to the LML Heretic/Flycatcher (Which I have flown and are great) but I have seen people have fun with it regardless.

The Eris does more dps to 24km, has much less alpha, has to worry about tracking, but is significantly faster. Tank is similar and depends on your fit. Overall a pretty great ship to fly.

So long as you realize that this fit is purely a mobile DPS platform and you'll need someone else to tackle/web your target, I think it's a great fit.

Personally, I'd go with a Catalyst. The Eris is almost 10x more expensive without a significant increase in overall performance. But that's just me.
