n00b indy pilot (1.2m) - Looking for long term corp home

Throwing this out there in hopes that a corp is willing to take a n00b as an investment to a long term member. (I have the potential to bring IRL friend who also play). My current corp is a personally owned corp developed to put an 'official' signature on the contracts I currently fulfill for a regular set of clientele.

I am a:

  • Full time father/husband, student, and employee - Real life comes before EVE but I am otherwise a dedicated and passionate gamer
  • US East Coast player - Typically ~2-4 hours a night 4+ days a week depending on the above
  • Self driven player - I have a tendancy to not ask for help but I enjoy helping others and good company
  • Mature and casual player but I'm no prude either


My character is:

  • 1.2m SP but constantly training
  • Skill planned 90 days in advance
  • Willing to adjust skill plan for mutual benefit of myself and corp
  • Self sustained in funds for (at least) immediate future
  • Centric toward all things industrialist - Mining, Transport, R&D
  • Willing to pick up a blaster when needed or to take a break (PvE) from staring at gravel
  • In the end- an unbiased, politically indirect, miser - I want to make money and leave the fighting for people who can't afford to pay others to do it for them.

Hello Arguile!

I believe Cygnus Industries could be what you are looking for.

We are a farily small, but steadily growing, corp in Amarr space focused on mining.
All members are of the laidback kind and we are fully aware of that RL > EVE which means that ops arent mandatory.

We can offer corp ops in highsec (both ore and ice) as well as allaince ops in lowsec. Asteroid belts in system hold plenty of Kernite and Pyroxeres and there are 6 ice belts wthin 6 jumps from home system.
Since mining can be a bit tedious sometimes we also do mission running and sometimes PvP training ops within corp.
All mining ops are of course Orca supported.

The members in our corp are 50-50 between US and EU and most alliance members are US so you wouldnt have to worry about being alone.

If you are into manufacturing then we would definitly have a spot for you since we dont have anyone in that department at the moment.

Hey Arguile, I'm part of a Gallente High Sec corporation with members mainly in the US. We are a growing corporation, with access to a TS3 server, daily missioning/mining ops, BPOs and BPCs, as well as weekly Rifter Roams.

We can offer you Orca support, experienced players who'd be more than glad to give you a hand, and more importantly a strict RL comes first policy. We don't enforce any ops, since many of our members have jobs, families, school, etc.
