Balance Faction War Tags and income

First I think faction war is great, and the changes are not a bad thing... mostly... ish. Actually I'm not sure about the changes yet. One thing that bothers me is the huge difference in the value of tags dropped by the rats in FW plexes. It wasn't much of an issue before, there was one rat in the plex it dropped a tag you could pick them up, or not, but it wouldn't make anyone rich either way. Now you have 7 spawns in the sites and it becomes more significant, especially in lower tiers. A Caldari pilot will get about 60k Isk per tag in a medium plex, A Gallente pilot can get about 1.4million ISK. So after the changes a Gallente pilot can pick up 10million ISK worth of tags for running a medium plex, a Caldari pilot can collect 490k ISK for running the same site, and the difference in Large sites is even bigger. It makes a huge difference in tier1, it becomes less of an issue in higher tiers because it gets eclipsed by the LP payout, but in tier1 10mil ISK is a lot and it doesn't seem right that it should be so badly skewed.

I don't have all the numbers but I have been in both warzones and I've noticed the value of tags varies wildly depending on which faction you're with, and it should be balanced imo. It's always been that way, but the changes have made it 7 times bigger now, and it could potentially have an effect on warzone control by giving people more incentive to run plexes for certain factions, especially in lower tiers (not suggesting it has anything to do with Gallente winning warzone control, it only makes a significant difference in the lower tiers). Now that Gallente won the entire warzone, gratz to the people involved btw, but we could really use an extra incentive to get more people out there running plexes for us because right now nobody is bothered.

Over all I think faction war is no longer profitable if you're in it for the right reasons, I probably make a profit at the end of most days but it's less than a half skilled miner in high sec, paying more for the tags would be one way to reward the people actually out there in the warzone over the militia hopping fair weather mission farmers.

As a caldari you should be ashamed if your having trouble funding your fight against the galenteens join a corp that can help you out those who use the war purely for profit have no place defending the state.

Profit? Lol like I said I could earn more in a procurer mining veldspar in highsec I'm not in FW just for profit. Besides the people who 'used the war purely for profit' were obviously doing a better job of defending the state than you realize.
