CSM 9, like CSM's 7 & 8 before us will be continuing to hold regular Town Hall meetings where you the public can ask questions live to your CSM representatives.

The second Town Hall of CSM 9's term will be held on Sunday September 7th 2014 from 19.00 UTC. This Town Hall will be a little over a week before 7 of my comrades depart for the Summer Summit in Iceland.

As normal, the town hall will be held on the EVE University Public Mumble and broadcast live by EVE Radio.

You will be able to ask questions live on the night via the in game channel "CSM Townhall", or if you are unable to attend you can post questions in this thread and we will ensure our moderator on the day asks them of us.

We look forward to seeing many people attend this Town Hall.

(Yes, this is AT Finals day, however this is the best available day for the attending CSM before Summit prep truly kicks in).

Unstickied. ISD Ezwal.

Not sure if I'll be around to listen in, but I'll go ahead and get a question on the agenda.

A lot of players have a very vested interest in sov null, and would really like to have it become a more dynamic place where we can spend our time, instead of the current "live" in null and work in some other space for PvP or ISK, that is becoming increasingly common.

That said, CCP Seagull "committed" to doing a pass on sovereign space before the end of 2014. With the understanding that with the NDAs in place there are obviously details that cannot be disclosed, is the CSM aware of any work in that direction, or are they involved in any discussions with CCP about the direction that work should be focused?

Hopefully that's vague enough to get an answer without treading on any legal catches.

Edit: Spelling is hard.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Maybe not really a CSM question but any word on the domi redesign, is it started/ in progress?

Also speaking of the domi, could you bring up post-tetricide insurance values at the summit, since the max domi insurance is like 75m atm. :( maybe suggest that updating it get a bit of priority since it doesn't seem too hard to fix now that extra materials are gone(could be completely wrong of course).

My Question to CSM.

of all the CSM member right now. Are any of them willing to stand up and say OFF GRIDS BOOSTING is a broken game play mechanic and needs removing ASAP by CCP.

Thanks you for reading

Thank you for the link.

My question was answered. But in my stupidity I did not ask the right question. Sad face

I Should have asked who in the CSM are going to stand up and PUSH for this to be fix within the next year of the game. I Myself have been waiting for over 2/3 years for this to be fixed now., (The then CCP Soundwave said that they was going to fix it during AT 8 or 9).

To me SOV is not broke (I believe that SOV is fine and that the players are broken and need to find new goals) and so time is not really needed to fix that. Things like Cloaky campers and the new EES that has been countered by just placing it in an anomaly do need sorting fast in my opinion.

Where as Off Grid t3 boosting 99% risk free pay to win system.

Command ship off grid boosting is not such a big deal right now as they are still fairly easy to probe down with not too may skill points and ships. Where as the t3 off grid booster is 99% un-probalbe. To probe down a correctly fit and implanted (I mean implants that lower to sig of the ship as to make even harder to probe down) t3 booster is impossible without perfect scanning skills and ship skill level, also the need of a 2.5b virtue implant set. If you do not have that in your fleet, you can not remove the boosters from the fights. It is imposable. Everyday I go out looking for PvP solo or in small gangs in lowsec, And every system I jump into I can see t3 booster if there is any sort of PvP going on. Even when I am solo. I get in to the fight and check D-Scan there is now a t3 of some sort that was not there before (it was cloaked). And this is for t1 frig fights. It has got to the point now that if I am solo. I will not engage unless local has nobody else in it or I can 100% account for the players in local and what ships they are in or can fly.

The 2nd thing about boosters is that I hear all the time from fleet FCs say that they will not take fights of any kind if they cant have a booster of some sort off grid working for them. Boosters are a key issue for FC's, And they will also not take fights because the enemy has them.

Now I fully understand where some FC's in 0.0 space where fleet numbers are a lot higher than the rest of Eve are coming from and fear the removal of OFF GRID BOOSTING as they fear the "Head shotting" of booster ships that are ON GRID. To me, there is a very simple answer. Bring a carrier and or Titan that can Boost your fleet. Or just don't bring a booster. To use a Eve saying, "HTFU"

This needs to be fixed long before anything else in my book. I have been waiting for it ever since CCP Soundwave said that it needed to go.

I Should point out that I don't blame the players for this. If I had the ISK to run a 2nd account with a Booster I would use it 100% of the time. Just because I hate the system does not mean I should not use it. I Blame CCP for making it so RISK free and Pay to win. (by Pay to win I mean that you or somebody is funding that 2nd account be it with your subbs or the use of PLEX).

The advantages of have a t3 booster is just too good not to use. In fact you would have to be a moron not too at this point.

I barely made it half way through listening. That audio was garbage!!! Xander sounded like he was in a bathroom. That chick from DOW podcast was mostly choppy at best. Mike sounded great. That british dude sounded like crap.

Half the questions and topics Xander presented, I barely understood because his audio was trash. Listening to the other csm responses and comments was only tolerable when Mike was talking because his audio was the best.

CSM, get better mics, or better recording software or something. Please.
