Because logging in to a 3rd party site with your Eve account info is a really good idea Roll

Shouldn't the CSM just use these forums to judge what people want?

Why should I have to go to your website and fill out something in order for my voice to be heard?

This seems unsafe and it makes you look like you are too lazy to read through the Features and Ideas forum.

Not today spaghetti.

Except you don't.

Look at the URL on the page where you log in.

We do keep an eye on the forums. However, this consolidates things down into an easy to search version, with a way for players to indicate if they like or dislike something. The dislike is the thing for forums don't do so well.

It also give Devs a change to flick through ideas quickly, when they're looking for something to do, to fill a small gap in the development cycle.

Oh, and unsafe? Using CCP's own SSO, where you give your username and password /only/ to CCP, and they tell me which character you selected, and nothing more? (other than a hash to let me know when a character has changed hands. I can't link characters and accounts)

Steve, thank you immensely for creating this. I have thought for a while now that it's quite absurd that the devs don't have a way to better consolidate all the opinions that players are attempting to present to them. This will surely assist in that.

One thing I have noticed is that I don't seem able to "unvote" an item. Only can adjust the vote as +1 or -1.

I also do hope there is some level of IP logging here, and prevention of users from voting more than once from the same IP. While I am not entirely happy to have my char linked to an IP, it seems necessary to help alleviate vote spamming.

Hey guys.

Steve, if devs cannot be bothered to read their own F&I forums in search for ideas (and there are multiple good and great ones already there) what's the point of posting them anywhere else. Because voting/likes system sucks on Eve forums? Yes it does but for me it only means one thing: CCP doesn't care about number of thumbs up/down next to OUR ideas, they do their own things and sometimes some of them just happen to be in line of somebody's suggestion.

There are multiple little things list on Eve forums already, in missions subforum, in F&I dedicated threads, in science I think there is also sth like this. People post ideas in CSM subforums too. And what? They all sooner or later die alone. But hey, at least we got more and more deployables \o/

I lost my drive to suggest or expect anything from CCP. I just look at every incoming "expansion"/release and hope to find at least a few things that I like or have interest in. Why do I keep paying my subs then? Well, it's still better than online casinos or crack.
