Caps stay in low and null sec for a reason

Imagine marmites with nuetral triage
Suicide gank dreadnaughts ( or WT Blap dreads that alpha your Marauder and came off a nuetral cyno so there was nothing you could do )
Supers that nuke freighters instantly during war or when they go suspect
or high sec titan bridge drops

It would be utter chaos, and while some chaos is great splammable chaos that never ends is not
Plus im quite at home in low sec with my carrier, like you siad theres no activity that cant be done by subcaps, so why do we need them? ( not that you said we did )

Or the fact that there would be absolutely no reason for anyone running missions to fit anything else? Marauders, any other drone boat, any faction/pirate ship commonly used, the tengu (which, honestly would be too bad imo), etc. would be overnight obsolete in terms of high sec L4s. The only possible exception I can think of is maybe the snake, depending on how much DPS this thing can produce with 10 fully bonused drones versus the snakes "super" drone model. And I don't run incursions, but I'm sure this would possibly be the same thing for that end of the spectrum as well.

I think we basically agree about it, like I previously observed...

But in rgards to unlocking.

For Fighters you need from the Drone tab only
Drone Interfacing V
Drones V
Which evades all other skills

As for a decent drone boat pilot of a drone faction you kindo of need/have
Drone Interfacing V
Drones V
Light Drones V
Medium Drones V
Heavy Drones V
Sentry Drones V
Gallente Drone Spec I
Caldari Drone Spec I
Amarr Drone Spec I
Minamatar Drone Spec I
Drone Sharpshooting V
Drone Avionics or such (can' remember) V

So yes, it's a difference in unlocking Fighers from normal Drones and I haven't mentioned any supprot skills. Some might skip one or the other type, but it's way more effort getting the drone skills together for a drone based sub-cap, then the skills for a fighter sub-cap carrier. - Which is why a drone carrier makes no sense pushing the drone skills as a third weapon systems on non-droen factions.
A fighter sub-cap is the only logical conclusion but not a solution, why this suggestion does not make sense and should be dismissed.
