Remove racism from EVE

After playing Amarr FW for 4 years I had many a capsuleer not wanting to play Amarr - because Amarr are slavers, evil and white skinned people . . .

Others wanted to play Amarr especially because of this.


I know CCP has and has some problems with the racism in EVE - it is best to remove it.


For this I would give all four player factions in EVE the same racial background, or give each side access to all three known and living real live ppl (caucasian, asian and african) on our planet.


That would free EVE of the actual racism in the game. I could post tons of remarks I read in local that where defintive racial in content - all FW capsuleer had read them.


I known this is a delicate issue - but it would be cool to remove racism form EVE.

Is the racism aimed towards players or in-game characters?

Former is not allowed and you should raise a ticket on it, latter is part of FW and RP.

Might as well rewrite our history books and say that the cause of the american civil war was because the north and south can't agree on what tea they want. Also the war itself is a dance and singing competition. where everyone is a winner

Yeah that sounds much nicer and cleaner than the current historical facts about the american civil war. Next thing you're gonna say it's actually bad if you play and/or act the bad guy in games and movies.

My application was rejected by Amarr FW, and I was subjected to much demeaning comment, because of my color. Slave running white supremacists should be majorly nerfed ... perhaps a -5% DPS 'bonus' throughout would be appropriate.

Sheesh!

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

As a brown skinned white person, I am constantly on both sides of this issue.

I get cavity searched at airports, but I still sit in first class.
I can play basketball, but I can't dunk.
I can play the blues like I'm dyin', but I can't dance a lick.
The list goes on and on.

Maybe this can be fixed in the winter patch?
