EVE Alliance Tournament Discussion

This is by far the best strategy to kill the nerves before a match.

As most of you know last nights match between Outbreak and Monkeys was delayed big time. This is what happened:

As GM Dagon pulled us all into fight system one of our players, Palamon crashed on load-up and was unable to log back in. CCP Mimic was pulled into chat with me and we tried numerous login attempts but to no avail. Mimic then reset Palamon, killed his ship and moved him to Jita to refit new ship he replaced for him. Eventually Palamon is able to login, fit-up and be moved to us. Problems were only getting started as Palamon was net being seen on CCP UI and we needed CCP Vertias with his techno elite skills to sort the problem out but apparently he was in a strip club at the time and they needed to fly him in pronto. Numerous attempts were made to contact him but he was definitely in too deep. Match was going to be called off and rescheduled much to our disappointment.

One of our guys Hey You logged off and then it transpires that Veritas was on route to fix the problem. Now what?

Sheeeeeeeeeeet.

Can we bring in reserve?, I asked. Yes you may CCP Mimic typed ,much to our relief as we managed to get that all done.... eventually.

Thanks CCP for making it an interesting evening and for allowing us to pull in a reserve.
