T2 ships I feel are missing from the eve line up

T2 battlecruiser - Huge Alpha, but with high reaction time for enemy Logi
Fast align speed, very low tank and scarce mid/low slot layout
Large lock range
High Scan Res
Bonuses to:

  • Torpedo CPU cost
  • Warp Speed and Warp Acceleration
  • 500% Torpedo flight time
  • 100% Torpedo flight speed
  • 100% Torpedo racial damage type
  • Inertial dampers


T2 destroyers as you describe already exist in the form of interdictors, and if you've ever used one you'd know that they're already very powerful against frigates.

There should probably a smaller version of the command ship, but I think it should probably be in the destroyer class. If it's too tanky as a frigate it's going to be hard to take off the field with such a high speed and low signature radius. I also don't think it should be able to field a full suite of links. Having cheap ships with cheap links is going to increase their prevalence dramatically, and it should be a choice of what to bring to the field, not 'lets just take everything.'

T2 battle-cruisers already exist in everything but name. Attack battle-cruisers fit the profile of a t2 ship to the letter, though I'm not complaining that they've been left as t1.
