You shot my exploration ship for no reason.

From now on, I will tell everyone who askes, to stay away from this game.

I know this is wrtitten in a moment of anger, but when you can not even feel safe in a cloaked covert ops ship, with covert ops cloaking, there is no meaning to try.

I had no chance to get out of gate cloak and in to my own, because I got targetet so fast.

And if that is how it workes, i´m out.

Gl to all, and you can give me all your reasons, I still do not think, that is how cloaked exploring should work.

I'm pretty sure once you settle down it will seem less rage factor, inducing but you aren't alone. We have all lost assets to simplified mechanics that translate to i-win buttons in EVE. The null bears don't get their pew pew because everyone knows the simplified mechanics make most of it fish in a barrel and people stop trying. The spend a billion to make a million evolution, lots of other issues.

Stick it on the ever growing list of don't do stuff in EVE and try and find something you can do. Or give something else a try for a few months. I have a similar policy. When I lose assets to one way mechanics I make CCP pay in sub fee. GL in other games.

1-0 to me. Got ya.

So lovely to see how others talk about intelligence etc. And then talk dirt to others, instead of explaining what someone did wrong, in a calm and polite way.

Some of you were polite and some was funny, but some of, are really bad poeple -.-

And we all know, that going into 0 sec, is a risk. That is how this game works, and that is what makes it so different.

Btw: Ocih , you are the best :D

Ahh crap, what does this post make me then, just shot my self in the foot -.- darn it................. Oops

In that case, reported for trolling.

Hmmm, oh well.

First, ask yourself why you wanted to play this game in the first place?
Then realize it is just a game, and it shouldn't be taken so seriously.

Im sure your loss hurt, but in this universe it is a measly stipend.

I've lost at least 15 bil or so in isks, just in the last couple years, and you know what?....
each time I've learned something and eventually made up the losses in no time.
And yes, I know when one is a new player, a few mill in losses hurts alot more than a few bil when ur a vet.
Imagine that!

This game is all about adapting, and only those who are strong will be successful.

Why not challenge yourself and see if you can overcome a set back? It's really not that hard,
and when you do you will feel better....just a thought :P

Another good person :)

The situation is true, and the anger was also real, but before i made this post, i thought it all through, and then it hit me, I wanted to make the experiment, to see how poeple in here would react, if poeple would help, or just flame, and well both types of pople have bin reprisented in the this post, sadly most of them are the flamers, but well!

But I hope that most people will react like you and Ocih in the future, i will :)

Judging by your forum rant they most definitely shot you for a reason.

+1

Taking a wild guess, I'd say the reason "VIDEO GAME that has guns in it" was the reason for aforementioned gunfire.

I can understand that losing an Anathema when you are just a couple of months into the game must hurt. You probably worked hard for the ISK.

I also totally respect your decision to rage quit. You aren't the first and won't be the last.

But if you do come back at some point, hopefully these couple of points help:

1. While the T2 covops ships gain bonuses, if you are going to nullsec, T1s are cheaper and less likely to cause an emotional response. Ships are just tools and disposable.

2. Sometimes even in a cloaky ship, there is nothing you can do. If you spawn on grid within 2km of anything, your cloak won't work. Sometimes network lag affects activation of your cloak. Crap happens. But your ship is just a tool and disposable anyway. Easy enough to replace.

3. You'll actually learn a lot more and be a better player for it, if you accept 100% of the responsibility for the loss and figure out what you can do next time, to avoid the same situation. In every case, there are things that can be done different, that would have led to no loss. That makes you a better player in the long run.

4. It's not the fault of the guys that killed you. They have nothing personally against you. They didn't kill you because they hate you or anything. They are just playing the game and having fun.

Anyway. Best of luck in the future.

+10000000 for a well written and reasonable post.

Explore with an interceptor. It's better than covops. You align stupid fast and can't get caught by warp bubbles.

The majority of these posts shows exactly why people think Eve is chock-full of ~edit~ "not very nice people".

The truth is that the forums are where most of those go to attack and slander people. Furthermore...it's usually the same small group of trolls.

Attack away! But it won't fill that emptiness inside of you.

Oh, and in Eve no reason IS a reason.

Go back and read the OP.

Reasonable posts don't get this kind of treatment, junk posts do. When you speak to people reasonable, you can and should expect a reasonable response, when you sperg nonsense, you get the same in return.

The initial burden is always on the original poster.
