Suggestions for the commandments of wormhole design.

The title is fairly clear, your suggestions and experience, is welcome to provide clear guidance for CCP as to the views of wormhole residents and experts, and to provide guidance to those who might wish to suggest features in future, I will start with the first few "rules"

Edit:- The zeroth commandment Wormhole space is not Known Space, Confuse them at your peril


1. Consider everything you bring into Wormhole space lost. THIS is the price of entry. We are not paying rent to be here.

2. Always carry a depot and a probe launcher/ probes. Every WH ship should be designed with space for them.

3. You should Never be able to warp off grid to an enemy player in wormhole space unless at some time or other, someone has had probes out.

4. The mechanism may be hard or complex to discover, but every feature should have a mechanism that can be discovered and used in some way or another in a consistent manner once understood.

5. Wormholes do not have "magic" features. Everything is based on physics, no matter how weird ( see 4.)
NB:- Luck or the RNG is chance not physics. And has no place. If your proposal uses the word chance, start again.

6. Without attractive PVE there is no life, without vibrant life there is no vibrant PVP.

7. Rewards should enable the replacement of lost assets, similar to the lost ones. Whilst some time is required to do so, Wormhole space should not be an exercise in grinding, there is plenty of other space for that sort of behaviour. if in doubt err on the generous side. The more that is earned the shinier ships that are lost and the greater the risks taken.

8. There are no Victims in wormhole Space, everyone is equally a combatant, encourage the opportunities for interaction, without wrecking the activities needed to replace losses.

9 NO wormholer should be subjected to the degradation of being set up as food for another.

10 regular sacrifices to BOB may help you understand the complex mechanics Quicker, but he will NEVER improve your luck.Lol

Well at the very least they will understand why, when the forums light up, and they get called in at the weekend.

We can just point to 3 and 5, and save a lot of confusion.Lol
