So much drama over a Firetail? LOL

My advice is to never cry on the boards when eve is mean to you. It tends to lead people to their nearby Locator Agent....

Welp, ok..even though I am still convinced you are a troll, there is a certain amount of doubt now that you may indeed be at least a moderately new player who may genuinely be in need of help.

So here are some real tips how to get out of this situation, and I'm posting a baby platypus, too - just to show you that I am serious.

1. Go to your first post in this thread, click on the "report" flag and request this thread to be locked. Seriously, it's getting worse for you with every page, time to do some damage control before it's too late.

2. Your character is only 2 months old- he owns nothing that couldn't be easily replaced. Don't start a huge drama over a frigging Drake- go do some highsec missions instead and buy yourself a new one within a few days or so.

3. You might want to join a corp with an open door policy at this point. RvB is a good choice to teach you the basics of PVP, you can make new friends there until the dust has settled a little and then search for a more permanent home. EVE Uni might be also good, but their application process used to be a little complicated (in the past at least, not sure if this has improved now)

4. Change your Bio. Really, announcing if you are pro-CFC or counter-CFC is pointless for a young character who is not even part of a nullsec power block. But since about half of the playerbase are CFC and the other half are more or less against them, taking your stance now will p1ss off 50% of the players, no matter what.

5. Since you seem to be oddly obsessed about Goons, in order to join them you will need an active Something Awful account. Registering a new account will cost 10 $- if you think that isn't worth it, then you should maybe question your priorities. More info here.

Hope that helped and good luck!

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Hey, fellas.
About a week ago, me and some corp buddies decided to go rat some rogue drones. Upon warping to the site I discover that one of my corp mates came with an Archon. Believe me, I was amazed. It was the first Carrier I've ever witnessed in-game.
I've heard that Carriers have cool features, like their own hangars, fitting services etc. While messing around with the Carrier hangars, I accidentally pop out my friend's Republic Fleet Firetail. I apologize to him over TS3 and warn him that his ship is outside his hangar. He tells me it's OK, recovers it and shortly afterwards, I dock up and log off.
Today I logged in, and in my mailbox awaited a nasty surprise. Our corp Mentor sent me a message, claiming that he overheard a conversation about me "stealing somebody's ship". I was with multiple corp m8s out ratting so I don't know who is the idiot that blurted out that I robbed somebody. Some moron put me in really deep s**t . My entire corp is pissed on me, and I really need advice on how to get out of this. One wrong move, and I get thrown out into the barren, cold space and depossessed of my belongings. I urgently need advice on this matter.

Oh god.. i so can;t believe i'm about to write this...

Yea def AWOX. Mistakes happen, your ceo, corp director, whatever, should of gotten the full story from both sides, it would of been simple to ask the owner get his answer, then either kick you for theft while you were logged off or talk to you once you came back on.

And besides, if they think what you did was theft... then they deserve to be robbed blind.

$10 for a forum account?
You'd be better off buying PLEX.

The cost is so you don't have to get spammed in the face with ads to cover site costs, like nearly every website wants to do now. It was a judgement call on their part, and a reasonable one at that. Seriously, **** ads.
That being said, there are plenty of pubbie corps in GSF (and even more in the CFC; yes, I am a pubbie) who don't require SA membership. Hell, even getting into GoonWaffe doesn't really require an SA account anymore, assuming you know someone in there who is willing to put their membership on the line for you. It's one of those "sure, we'll take you on your word, but when your pubbie fucks up, you're both getting purged" kind of things.

This was an interesting read.

Sorry your situation went .. eehm.. weird?
And too bad the CEO didn't make an elaborate post in here.

Little side note. I am now 1.5 months old and have no desire to fly any big ships, because the bigger they are, the harder they are to replace. Stick with the smaller ships.

1. Your corp will have no grip on you through your assets.
2. You will be able to abide by the most important rule in EVE: "Don't fly what you cannot replace." (multiple times imho)

Anyway, good luck in the future and join some corps that totally "disrespect" their members while roaming with drunk FC's. (best FC's)

First of all: what is a pubbie?

Second of all: you're wrong at one thing. You need $10 for a forum account + another $4 if you want to get rid of ads. Maybe I'll consider making an investment into both of these, cause seriously, ads make my eyes burn.
