I don't know, the great thing about eve is that no matter what someone or a group of someones do, you can stop them in one way or another, where as with cloak, you are unkillable until the time of your choosing. Doesn't seem very eve-like.

Why are they OP?

You can't kill them. You can't find them. They occupy the system as long as they please, and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

I'm not gonna beat this horse though, CCP knows, or if they don't, god help us all.

Your right that they can stay in system as long as they like but tell everybody what they can do whilst they are cloaked?

Well I have spoken my mind and gave my .02 isk. the way i see it CCP has 3 choices.

1) Make cloaking modules use a fuel.

2) Create a ship or give a ship ( destroyer ) theabilty to hunt cloak ships.

3) Remove cloak from game entirely.

I know 3 isn't going to happen. So CCP really has 2 choices. But this is a issue that has been going on since Cloaking was introduced to the game.

So like everyone else says in New Eden. Addapt or move along to another MMO.

Why does CCP only have the choices which you have declared? Are you that special of a player that CCP can you do what you suggest?

Also if you show everybody a killmail by a afk clocker then I will concede you have point, until there is nothing to talk about

Fair enough. CCP has many choices but in reality there can only be one. Either way it goes someone will be pissed at teh end of this war. Either cloakers win and nothing is done to them, or people asking CCP for a fix win and cloakers get pissed. Either way someone is going to be pissed

So what? They can't hurt you, either.

You're asking to have uncertainty removed, and that will never happen.

I suggest a deployable that mimics your own name in local until the next downtime.

Why can there only be one?

Also there is no war.

All we have is people who are scared of other players.

Honestly I was also thinking something along those lines. A deployable module or a P.O.S. module or Sov. module that prevents cloakers kinda the same as a cyno jammer.

You saying can keep saying your not going to beat this horse as much as you like but it does not change fact that whilst a ship is cloaked it can not do you any harm what so ever.

The only thing a ship can do whilst it is cloaked is fly about. It can not shoot, it can not active any module, it can not deploy any structure. It is zero threat whilst cloak.

I don't follow anyone around, much less some insignificant character I don't even remember having interacted with prior.

BTW 4) Do nothing is what they have been doing since this war on cloakers has started. The day will come were Cloakers and poor defenseless cyno pilots are fixed.

I don't see a "war on cloakers". I just see a handful of people whining.

You all said they would NEVER give jump freighters or freighters any type of fitting slots and look what has happened this year?

So yea I see changes to Cyno pilots and Cloakers coming soon (TM)

I think there are actually some direct dev statements out there that said "**** no!" to these exact ideas.

You lot need to face facts, you don't get to have all the uncertainty removed, you are not entitled to rat in peace, you are not entitled to be left alone.

This is an MMO. If other players scare you so freaking much, then get your cowardly arse back to highsec where the risk averse pubbies belong.

Whilst were at it why not have a something that prevents any weapons from firing or from any prop module from working.

proposing changes to game mechanics (in this context) is about the biggest form of whine i could imagine.
