I wonder if there will be any grinding? Be able to mine?
I did watch the interview.

Seems like it has fantastic promise. I like how the directors have some control but not complete control. I would need people to fly next to. Being an eve player flying accross planets alone, makes me nervous. I'm funny in the head that way.

I like building my ships, makes things personal. He didn't touch too much on that. If I crash on a planet, what then? Do i light a distress beacon and have someone pick me up and buy another ship? Will I be able to buy another one? Or do I just respawn? I don't see this being as complicated as space engineers however a level of intricit detail would be appreciated. Also when theis comes out let me know where to find you guys so we can link up.

From what I heard, if you crash and You don't have anyone to pick you up, You'll need to build a new ship from scratch.

Could be wrong tho, that's just what I heard froma a guy who read something about the game... Straight

EDIT: That said, IF that game is ever released and they manage to stick to what they promised, I'll definitely play that game... at least for some time, before my duties an EVE Forum warrior call upon me again.

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

Sticky: AFK Cloaking Thread It's not pretty, but it's there.

Looks promising but I am holding out on my expectations.

Spore looked to offer similar scope based on procedural generation, and despite the creature evolution becoming more shallow, the rest of the gameplay delivered as expected but still became boring fast.

NMS will need more than a few cool novel technological features to keep gameplay interesting after visiting a few planets and initial cool factor wears off.

This game looks so good, I just hope it lives up to its promise. My concern is that it's all eye candy and no substantial content.
