EVE General Discussion

I have a problem and I am looking for outside opinions on how to solve it. I warn you in advance, its a sad and tragic tale.

While most know me as a ganker and serial forum-troll... it might surprise some to learn I lately have been living quite happily in W-space. While wormholes are many, one in particular, I have called it home for quite some time now.

Unfortunately, another player has moved into my system several weeks ago. A very old player, he ignores me in local and monopolizes the best spawns. He's clearly rich, better-equipped (deadspace fit!) and much better at PVP than I am. I just hate him.

You know that feeling you get when you don't really know WHY you hate somebody - you just deep down, know that you do? Well, I have that feeling. In spades. I vowed to expel him from my wormhole - by any means necessary, up to and including forcing him to biomass.

As I tend to have a rather sneaky and dishonest nature, I surreptitiously spied on him for weeks. I came to realize he was a very solitary player with few friends. Further, he only seemed interested in accumulating ISK as efficiently as possible.

As usual, I caught him clearing a sleeper site, solo in a pimped Tengu. Seizing my chance, I boarded my Kestrel and landed on his position, bombarding him with rockets.

(Yes, I understand that rockets kind of suck, but you must understand that I am quite poor and it is all I can presently afford.)

Despite my tight orbit and unorthodox tactics, I found I simply was unable to break his tank. He actually ignored me for several minutes, though my clever insults and slanders in local eventually forced a response....
Before I could blink, he popped my Kestrel.

Interestingly, he showed no real interest in podding me, but merely looted my Kestrel and continued plundering the site.

"Fool!" I thought as I warped off in my pod. I recognized his refusal to pod me for what it was - a sad mixture of moral weakness, decadence and extreme cowardice. I grabbed another Kestrel (and more rockets!) from my secret stash, warped to his location and again, rained fiery death upon him!

Unfortunately, further attacks met a similar result. One after the other. Dead Kestrel. Dead Kestrel. Dead Kestrel. Dead Kestrel. Eight times I attacked, eight times I was destroyed, lit up like a candle. Still, no poddings.

The ninth time I ambushed him, he didn't even respond to my rocket fire. The coward had obviously modified his tank - his shields might as well been made of iron! So I decided to teach him a lesson and started destroying Sleeper Wrecks right in front of him instead. HA HA! Take that greedy carebear!

Well, THAT got his attention. Not only did he destroy my frigate, but he immediately podded me as well.
Of course, learning his weakness, I kept up the pressure, slaughtering his Sleeper wrecks. I returned again, and again, though I was getting podded repeatedly.

I look to the greater EVE community to assist me with my plight. I cannot abide having this interloper in my wormhole and look for ANY assistance possible to have him cast out.

That said, my spirit is unbroken - though my losses have been rather staggering. The SP loss alone from podding has been in the millions. Yet, even this may work to my advantage.....

I've lost SO many ships, and SO much SP - I believe his conduct may rise to the level of 'griefing'.
His attacks on my ship were so devastating and the results so disproportionate, it severely limits my ability to enjoy EVE - and clearly violates EULA.

CCP may very well ignore my petitions, but I have seen first hand how powerful CSM can be in swaying EVE Community opinion on these matters. Should I be ignored I will be forced take my case.......to the blogosphere!

Oh, and one last thing: I've heard CCP established a 'Heavy Rayne' policy where victims of repeated poddings can get their SP back. How does one participate in this new reimbursement program? Do I have to share my account with my brother first?

You should try posting in general discussion about it, I hear that's a good way to get an answer.

Though with regards to the jealousy, surprisingly apt.

Nuet him, tank kinetic (most likely?). Add some dps for flavor, ( maybe the sleepers will do the work). Win.
