I don't think you can voluntarily allow yourself to become a victim of a crime. And yes, what you do to yourself is a crime when you read his garbage. You're murdering your brain cells.

Speak for yourself, he's trying to have fun.

All and all at the end of the day its what we all want.

Timezone tends to play a big part in that, last scheduled fight I was at work. Would like fights in my TZ too.

Multiboxer neutral logi hisec scrublord noob pve carebear here.

Round 1 had so little organization that I didn't even hear about it until everyone had already died. Round 1.5 bailed when it became apparent that we were going to die in a fire because there was no organization, hence the first few lost POCOs. Round 2 was a good fight.

We took the pocos we wanted, added a couple of dead POSes for good measure. Killed some dudes, lost some dudes. WTs surrendered to us last night so it'll be over in a few hours.

The way I heard it, you guys negotiated to end the war before the timers ended on your POCOs to avoid their inevitable loss. I don't know who takes whichever side initiated the surrender as word of law declaring a winner to the war. Alex generally takes the initiative in settling negotiations like this, and what matters is that you accepted the surrender and when you took it. I myself was pretty disappointed you wanted the war ended so soon, was looking forward to winning round 3.

I concur with this. It was a pity that other mercs did not get involved in this as they missed out on some good fun but understandable due to some having a few problems, But one merc corp not joining due to them being petty and thinking they are too elite to join was pathetic, All in all it was fun.

If it's us you're talking about, we'd have been happy to if we even heard that it was happening... though the rate things were going, I dunno if we would have been willing to join in on the ineffectual tempest fleet vs the unity of the ferox kite-blob. It kind of sounds like Break-a-Wish decided to bow out for much the same reason: that fleet was doomed to fail, and it wasn't hard to spot.

I still think it's incredibly silly that you guys went and blew ~750 million ISK on the wardecs and then never actually fought them. What's up with that? You guys are losing the war. So's Vendetta, and they paid out of pocket the same way. All that and you didn't bother to join in when it was actually organized, with a plan and everything. Say what you will, but there's a LITTLE elitism there, at the very least.

Professor Clio wrote:
I'm not, there's by definition a lot of let's called them less than experienced pilots in RvB who don't know it's not a good idea to mission while at war or to take their full hauler into Jita with marmite in system.

tl;dr good fight, too bad you were so eager to avoid another

There were 6 poco timers tonight before the war ended. Not a single war target showed up. But tell yourself what you need to to feel superior, that's fine.

We weren't there because we were asked nicely by your Great Leader to leave your **** alone. I would have been all over that if it were up to me, but Alex told us to leave it be

Why don't you ask about it yourself?

...Seriously, are you so naïve that you think NOBODY would be there, just because of the fight the day before? Nobody could possibly have talked to anyone else and worked out a deal to save their own goods? Don't talk to me, it's not by my mercy that you got to keep your structures.

You're saying we accepted the surrender to save pur pocos, but the timers were all before war end anyway, so that theory clearly makes no sense. I actually know why Alex told you to not to bother with them, do you?

You do realise we came out of this war owning more POCOs than before right. We haven't actually lost any and we took a half a dozen from the enemy. :P

What Clio means is that the last bunch of POCOs you guys reinforced were set to come out of reinforced mode after the end of the war, so ultimately irrelevant. You would no longer be able to attack them anyway. Not sure where you get your info from Iam, but you might want to double check it. :P

Iam is right.

a deal was made after the 2nd fight where RvB and GSE leave each other's poco's alone (there was more in the deal but I don't know the details). this deal came from RvB leadership not GSE.

That is why RvB have set GSE blue.

Edit: I think but I may be wrong that GSE will assist RvB in any future Wars (probably just to learn PvP).

I'm not RvB leadership so I don't have exact details but a deal was indeed made, although it may not be what you think. We offered terms to GSE. They are pretty cool guys and anyone can see they took the bulk of the damage, while the 'mercs' were patting their killboard stats in Jita.

We offered terms to GSE, considering they had already lost half a dozen POCOs and a few POS. These terms came indeed from RvB leadership. I think it's a respectful thing to do. I'm not sure if we'll form fleets with them, but I'd be happy to. I had a good time pewing those guys. :)

Padding killboard stats in Jita, Are you that blinkered you follow anything you read from dubious sources.

I have respect for RVB for fighting as I have respect for GSE, I also am very respectful to the mercs who turned up and participated.

You need to learn to be humble and show respect where it is due not to disrespect all of your WT's with petty inuendo.

Sol epoch wrote:

Your own killboard confirms that 10.5k kills out of Marmites all time total of 21k kills, happened in Jita and Amarr.

As for this specific campaign, the killboards would suggest largely the same thing, with Amarr and Jita accounting for almost half of your RvB kills this campaign.

Respect is earned, not a given. GSE earned my respect this war.

Gosh, could this have anything to do with RvB's location during the war? What a concept.

Aivo Dresden wrote:

I'm glad to hear that. While you're about it, acting a little better might even earn some of your own in the future.

But the fact stands: Post organization, GSE and friends held a clear advantage in the war and stood to take back from RvB more than they had lost in the first place. RvB leadership saw this and brokered a cease-fire and a quick end to the war, including terms that the structures we had reinforced that day would not be killed when the timers ended.

The harbor may have been above the water, but it's clear which way the tide was moving. All this silly posturing by Professor Clio and Aivo Dresden is really rather ungraceful and unbecoming to RvB as a whole. Given your reputation, I really expected better from you guys.

What's rich is getting all this postering from a guy who didn't even fight during the war!

You keep saying you would have destroyed us but remember, fight three was not on a timer. We decided to take it anyway, but only your side was aware of when it would be. On a timer, we would have formed up properly, in larger numbers since we would have know about it on advance. Now maybe wed have still lost, maybe not. Now we won't know.

As for whatever you "expect" from us, I couldn't care less
