Hello,

Been a while since I've seen a 'Lost In W-Space' thread. I believe this is the first time I've ever seen a 'Fleet Lost In W-Space' thread.

Don't know if you checked all of the moons inside that w-hole system but there might be a different corp with a POS in there as well.

Anyway, sorry to hear about your plight. Hope you guys look at this as a valuable learning experience. In the future try to observe and follow the 5 P's :

Many, many months ago I ran a small wh-division and noticed that the C3->high sec hole alternated between just a few systems (like < 10) around the one we entered through. Was this chance, or was it like that a long time ago and has now changed?

Another little way is to use an alt or corp mate in normal space to use a locator agent on any ships you might see in the wormhole. Keep checking and if the charcter suddenly appears found in normal space there is a good bet that the wormhole exit is there. Probe out all the WH's in that system and your corp / alt will find a way in and thus a way out for you.

Pilots Log: Day 6

Today the system is very quite. I stumbled across an old cargo container labeled "20th Century Earth Relics" I found something called "DVDs" I was able to retrieve the video data from these strange disks. It was a TV program called "Three's Company", I proceeded the watch all 8 years of this odd human entertainment program. No wonder why their planet exploded, it had little life worthy information.

I decided to leave the other relics for another day as it looks like I will be here for a while, no hope in sight.

No activity to report from the Tengu Pilot "Dorna Jona" from the corp [RSOC.] or its CEO.

No Launcher, No Probes. That was my first mistake I will never make again. Hoping this Corp will help me out, at this point im willing to offer up a nice prize who can get me out of here and not just try to kill me or try to extort me.

Just before logging off Dorna Jona comes on in system, I asked if he/she was willing to help. Yes they said.

They scan down a WH to KS-1TS (-0.4) then ask for money. I only have 200m they say ok, give and then ask for 1Bil.

Out 200m now, my fault for not seeing the WH first. Oh well. Now im pissed.... welcome to EVE!

Come one NCQA, let's gather the funds to get him his 200 mil back, he deserves it. Or an in game community effort to get him out of there.

Hey, I appreciate it. Not looking for charity, I made the mistake of giving the pilot 200m isk thinking he was just doing a nice thing. I know EVE is all about screwing the next guy over for good ol' corp laughs. But I was hoping this guy would be different. Im determined and think of this as a fun challenge for me. Anyone could of just self destructed and called it a day, but I find this is better for me individually as a pilot to at least try to get out in some way or another.

Honestly, I have to admire your mule like stubbornness through all of this Big smile, I'd have gotten bored and self destructed my way out far sooner. But you're going to have a killer EVE story to tell when this is all over, whether you make it out in your current ship and clone or not Blink.

Have no fear though, Cara is on the case. I have a feeling Pilot's Log: Day 7 will be written outside of the WH.

With the help of Cara Forelli I was able to escape the WH in a few jumps into Highsec, 54 jumps away from home but still ok.

Last words from Cara after helping me out, "Don't do anything stupid"

So what do I do? I log onto my toon (Orca, Hulk in bay, full of ORE) and proceed to jump through the bookmarks. Bad move, on the very last hole I was bubbled and ganked. I tried to self destruct the ship but just seconds before the whale popped. BOOM! Space dust, then the spamming of a celestial to get my pod out....BOOM, Pod gone.

Very well played Cara, very well played. I learned a few things from this I will not mention but are obvious.

I offered up my ORCA for payment in helping me but I guess the 600m in laughs or almost 1Bil in killmail was payment enough

Thanks for the fun! Now to buy some PLEX and rebuild. Cool
