Will keep an eye out. Don't fear posting the J Sig, worst case scenario is you all die anyway. Best case is the locals or a WH'er spots this thread and happens across the system. For a significant reward you may even find people with C2 statics willing to roll for yours (poke my CEO if you're willing to offer up a significant sum, he may help).

Welcome to wormhole space. Blink

Yeah let me know, not sure how much it would cost me but we can work something out.

You'd have to ask my CEO or the diplo.

Poke Bronya Boga or Foedus Latro if you see them on. Since people often offer 500m->1b+ for a hole location I'd hazard to guess you'd want to offer something in that vicinity or even much more for a corp to spend hours rolling their static until they found your C2. Even then there's no concrete guarantee it will be found (there are a lot of C2s).

Really depends on the value of ships/pods you want to save and whether it's worth it or not.

But speak to the locals first. They will be your best (and cheapest) chance of getting out in one piece. Smile

NC Q&A Wormhole Siren indeed Lol.

EDIT: By the way, would you care to explain your BM naming scheme? I'm guessing C2A for example means the first C2 wormhole you've found, and the "<" or ">" denotes direction. But what's (EOL) and the * mean? For my few little tourist trips into a WH I've been naming the bookmarks with the signature ID and the wormhole's name, so a better way of doing it would be a good thing to learn, for myself and the OPs lost fleet.

Grrr.

"EOL" is most likely "End of Life" (i.e. the WH is nearly out of time).

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Honestly just self destruct. Time is more valuable than ISK. Or thunderdome yourselves to pod express at the sun. Its fun anyways.

My old corp lost BS and HICs when one collapsed unexpectedly (still should have had 10% mass left) ... When rolling WHs, have probes! When WH diving, have probes or expect to get stuck every now and then.

AKA the scientist.

Death and Glory!

Well fun is also good.

Correct and correct. EOL stands for "End of life" denoting less than four hours left until the hole collapses. VOC means "verge of collapse", meaning any more mass passing through is likely to collapse it. The first tag is the system I'm in and the second is where the wormhole leads, while < and > tell me the direction of the spawn (though I get a bit lazy with this, and a lot of people just use >). First system I find of each class is "A", next is "B", etc. Asterisks mark the direction I came from, so if I need a quick route home I just follow the stars. Roll

So for example, if I started in high sec and found a C2 wormhole with a static high, static C4, and an incoming C5 and C2.

Highsec bookmark:

HS > C2A

C2A bookmarks:

C2A > HS*
C2A > C4A
C2A < C5A
C2A < C2B

This is my personal system, but most wormhole corps use something very similar.

Make sure bookmarks are in doctrine format. I wouldn't want us getting..."lost".

I dont understand why you dont just self destruct .. unless its the fun of it all .. at my point in my carreer i would love to get stuck (by accident) in a WH and try and figure out how to get out - but only for the novelty.

The only reason i can see for you to not want to self destruct is if you have gone and broken the first rule of EvE.

History is the study of change.

Trying to get out without SD is a challenge I'd like to see if I can accomplish, I can never break rule one. I'd just buy more plex if I ever needed to replace my ISK. (Don't fly what you can't afford to lose)

Pilots Log: Day 4

Established brief communication with a Tengu Pilot posted inside the POS Bubble, only response "?"

Corp seems to be German and have sent emails to both the CEO and Tengu Pilot in German, Thank you Google Translate.

Today the Tengu is sitting there inside the POS with no Pilot. Left a container with a few goodies in front of the POS with a note hoping someone would see it in the next two hours.

Most of the fleet have self destructed, leaving the most hardcore to wait through this ordeal to train up on Level 5's and reflect on this life out here in space.

END.

This is wrong to an extent. The worst thing that could REALLY happen is your corpse ends up in a corpse collection in someone's POS to be used in creative and disturbing ways after those long days of chain rolling and finding nothing.

Welcome to wormhole space indeed!

CCP ignore me please, I make too much sense.

Pilots Log: Day 5

Establish communication with the Tengu Pilot finally. Wants 1,000,000,000 isk to sell me a Launcher and Probes. Doesn't speak great English, not willing to risk 1Bil isk also for nothing. Stale mate continues unless the CEO of this corp wants to step in and pull rank. Offered 200m for the launcher/probes, fair price I think, maybe not to some. Hopefully tomorrow we can make some more head way.
