Hey guys i'm currently at a station in Clellinon and I'm always finding myself traveling further away to get ores and its a longer time to get back and empy it. Can anyone tell me a good location that is safe and will have a station close to ores?

Forget about high sec and look for a 0.0 industrial corp friendly to newbies (and one that has a buyback program). Mining in 0.0 is safer and more profitable than mining in high sec.

I joined a null corp a month into the game, mined while training up PvE skills, sold the ore to the corp. Even with a 90% Jita price corp. buyback program, you can make around 1M isk/haul in a venture mining in null. You will also have corp mates roaming the system in ratting ships to take care of rats, and intel channels watching for unfriendlys.

Note: I am not suggesting any specific corp, per the New Citizen forum rules. Purposely posting from NPC alt for this reason.
