These 2 posts pretty much sum it up. Marmite like to harp on about how spectacular they are and how nobody can compare with them, while thy sit on an undock and 10-man kill noobships and industrials, then they get into a real fight and it's a heavy dunkathon. It just confirms what we already know and amuses greatly.

We get it Lucas, you don't like marmite. I'm still confused why killing easy targets is considered a bad thing though.

Killing easy targets is not bad. Doing nothing but killing easy targets and harping on about how your alliance is the epitome of high-sec PvP is the reason null-sec looks at high-sec and laughs at us. Marmite et al./ with their risk-adverse form of PvI (Player v. Industrial) continuously gives groups such as Goons ammunition to lob in our direction as anything other than "legit PvPers".

Oncer again, RvB are the epitome of high-sec PvP, and even Goonswarm will begrudgingly admit that what they do is PvP. That is why groups such as Red vs. Blue and BRAVE have a positive reputation amongst the null-sec crowd, and pretty much anyone who pays attention to the game laughs at the hubris-filled-but-no-evidence-presented threads drawn up by Marmite.

It's not hatred. It's a general laughter at how pitiful one group can be and still think they actually matter. It's kinda' like Russia.

Is anyone suppose to care what nullsec alliances think? Are you one of the people who thinks nullsec is the endgame of eve? I can assure you, things like what happened in this thread have a hell of a lot more "PVP" involved with them than simply warping gogo goonfleet of a thousand ships to a fleet of ten and pressing "F1".

We roamed thru deklien a few weeks back.. kitchen sink fleet of about 8 frigs and cruisers. You know what goons brought? Over 200 interceptors. You know what they killed? ONE SHIP. Just how LEET PVP is that? The damn things didnt even spread points.

I will take a shot in the dark, and guess a mixture of the three.

Never did null-sec PvP myself; in fact, I stay away form it. Not interestted in the politicking and supercap blobs common there. But it isn't just null-sec that laughs at high-sec. Everyone does, and they have points many times, something that I am loathe to admit but will do so anyways, considering I've spent the vast majority of my time doing high-sec war decs before and after the changes.

This makes me think that goons really are just about 1/10th to 1/100th the numbers they claim, though every one of them an IsBoxer.

Kinda funny, 200v8 is 25:1 odds, they could've easily alphaed all of you but instead chose to focus fire on just one ship.

I'm confused and left feeling that goons are more bark than bite.

There there buddy, it'll be OK.

To be fair, how would you expect me to respond to "I can't figure out how to attack you directly so I'll drag a random ex-marmite into the mix and see if that sticks"? I guess the real response would be *shrug*

I am keeping it on topic. Marmite got DUNKED. That's the topic.

Yeah we had 2 fights yesterday where we lost badly in the last fight. We lost one fight the first day of bringing out a fleet against RvB. IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD.

A war lasts for one week incase you guys didn't know that, so we still have like 6 more days to fight or even a new 1 week war comes after this first one. So the war is far from being done.

Coming up with a 'OMG MARMITE LOST AGAINST RvB IN A FIGHT' after just one day in a war is not exactly a good idea. Maybe after 6 days then i would agree.

In the end of the day, i and i think many others had fun in the fight yesterday, and frankly, that's what matters. I lost my Tempest (was actually my first loss since i joined Marmite, so i couldn't care less) in the last fight in Jita and i still had tons of fun. I even got it all on fraps (38 mins of footages).

As i'm ex-Rebirth, we have been fighting RvB quite alot of times earlier, so we like to fight against them because they usually brings a good fight.

Here are 2 pictures that i took from the 2 fights we had.

From the fight in Muvolailen: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7309753/Bilder/EVE%20Online/fleet.png (here we did hold the field as RvB jumped into us on our terms).

From the fight in Jita (which was a mess as my TIDI was down to like 25-30% at worst lol): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7309753/Bilder/EVE%20Online/fleet2.png (we lost in this fight as we jumped into RvB's terms in Jita and because our FC didn't do a good job).

Bring me the next fight, please.

EDIT: And as i forgot to say this, but i think this whole war thingie is pretty darn nice. How often do you see so many mercenaries goes together to fight a single enemy?

Never.

And the fact that this kind of PVP scale is happening in Jita is something you never see either (now you have seen it though). So again, who cares that we lost one fight?

I just said that we (ex-Rebirth members) are used to fight them, so you can take your anger somewhere else.

But it's good to see that Marmite or even Rebirth have touched you some very special places that made you so angry at us. Your tears can fuel all of our battleships we use against RvB now with the rate of crying that comes from you.

The one thing I could never understand about the chest beating and EVE propaganda with the larger blob alliances is why the **** do pilots who are individually bad or can't score a kill without more than 20+ on the mail feel as if they are special or have accomplished something for having enough IQ to be effectively someone else's zombie?

I mean I think every child in my nephew's kindergarten class can listen and follow instruction of someone telling them how to write an elegant program but does that make them an accomplished programmer? No it doesn't. Why does that happen in EVE?

Because you lemming based on 1 guy on TS does not make you as an individual a pro PVPer or even your alliance if you must give anyone props give it to the FC.
