There is a reason one does not simply fly into Nullsec. There is a reason one does not simply fly into sov space.

For CCP to allow us tools to be used to fly into somebody else's space, which they worked hard for without those tools, because we don't understand simple basic game mechanics/logistics? Wrong.

Give it 5 minutes and THEN we have a good utility item. Gives an enemy LOTS of time to pop it so only the derpiest ones could get hot dropped by it. The size would be equal to 1 cycle worth of cyno fuel.

And we need a covert version too of course.

And the standard mechanic of it being a global beacon would still apply, but the beacon wouldn't show up until it was anchored and online.

The covert one would remain beaconless, require cyno theory 5 and anchoring 5, and would be scannable by combat probes.

Once the cyno anchors it has a short reinforce time of maybe 60 seconds to ensure someone wanting to use it can get through it. And besides, if it was able to survive the 5 minute anchor then 1 minute of guaranteed use wouldn't be a bad idea.
