Looks like a great program if I could get it to work. Almost everything has no price data.

  • I'm right in the middle of Caldari space
  • I have exported market data logs from EVE into Evernus
  • I have imported prices from web

Basic items like Nocxium have "No Price Data"

Help?

I need more info - is this item in your orders?

Yes in my character orders. My Assets tab also shows no data in the form of everything being 0 ISK. Thanks

Are you sure there are other competing orders? By that I mean sell orders in the same station or buy orders with the range spanning this station.

Yes when I go into the Regional Market for Hedbergite there are 11 buy orders and 11 sell orders, but in Evernus my sell order for Hedbergite shows up as 'No Price Data'. They are both in the same station.

Exporting market data from EVE into Evernus does hot help, even when it's exported while showing Hedbergite.

Can you tell me which station?

You probably enabled email notifications with auto update (import preferences).

hello. I was wondering, is it possible to add more features to the item costs? For example:

  • Set it based on previous sales records, and give the option per item to select those sales records based on a certain time period, region, or specific station from sales you made yourself, or sales made by other people.
  • set it based to a specific trading hub, or an average of the entire universe.
  • Have the option to remember the item cost of different time periods. If for example the price of harpy ships goes up or down and i am selling a lot of harpies on the market, my overall profit on that ship that i can see will be wrong if we have just one item cost if i needed to change that to reflect the new cost of that ship.
  • Make 2 different types of item costs. 1 for directly buying and selling on the market, and one for industry, where the item cost will be dependent on how much it costs to make for example on average 10 large shield extenders.

Right now if for example the item cost is empty, the numbers of total profit, margin and total income are not very useful. If i sell dozens of items, or hundreds of items, the task of updating the item cost becomes rather tiresome. Any change you could make to this would be very helpful.

I dont know if this is important or not, but i have chickens.....

You can always enable automatic cost adding on buy order fulfillment in the preferences. That way you'll always have a weighted average of those items you buy => real costs. There might be a way to utilize CREST market history to do some cost computation, but I don't really see it now.

Is this possible to use this program without being forced to use my login details? I'm so stupid that i can't make it work without this whole crest thing.

I'm quite concerned since I can't verify where my password goes, and I really need to check this market analysis tool out, it seems so awesome. Also, when I want to import something and the crest window appears it's "blocked" for some time.

Is this possible to use the market analyze tab without using my passwords but with manual reports of items i want to use?

Thanks in advance

The bug in the CREST login on Market Analysis tab has been fixed and will be released in the version. Using it on any other tab works fine. Also, the next version will support using an external browser for CREST authentication, as an alternative method for the built-in browser. Market analysis requires CREST to fetch the latest order data along with market history. I can assure you that no login/password information is being stored (anyone can verify this in the source code). If you want to stay safe, you can use a temporary password, or just wait for the next version.

Well, you answer was... FAST.

Thank you for that. So, in the next release (do you have any estimated time or something perhaps?) i'll be able to use external web browser to see that it's protected by CCP? It's nothing personal Pete, just eve learns ppl to not trust each other (at least when it comes to account passwords).

Also one more question - how do I import my desired items to analyze them? Do i use IGB for that, or just specify items and something magically happen?

Sorry for my newbie questions, but I NEED this application working :)

Cheers

Well, I was planning on doing a release with every expansion, but it seems this one can be rushed a bit. I'll think about it next week.
As for the analysis. When you get it working (if you really need it now, use a temp password or I can send you the latest development version), you can select any item/category you want to analyze via a market tree.

Main thing i want to use for now is this analysis tool. Now i got it working by simply creating eve 14 day trial and logging via it.

Man, this application is HUGE and can't wait for new release!

Awesome job, keep it up. We need more people like you seriously :)

My apologies for 2nd post in a row but after testing evernus for 2 days i'd like to share my thoughts.

The application is great. Still waiting for visible CREST authentication so i can make sure my passwords are not going anywhere (i'm paranoid, i know) but still this application is the best one available for traders.

I really like the market analysis tab, it helps me a lot in what i want to do and i find it extremely useful. Although, I'd like to ask some questions regarding this analysis:

- Is there any way to save the previously scanned items? Let's say i want to scan all isotopes, some moon minerals, some subsystems and t2 modules (100 items total across several categories). Is there any way to save this "setup" to not be forced to manually check out and click every one of them to import data?
- I really like the indicators since they are very popular and effective BUT - is there any chance you'll add more with time which we could use? Not sure if it's possible, I have completely no knowledge how this application works from "technical side".

The 2nd request is just a side request, but the 1st question is quite crucial. It would speed up process a lot for traders like me and make my life easier.

Thank you Pete so much for your hard work and for bringing us the best trading tool ever.

The first one is already done. I'll make a new release shortly. Adding more indicators is not a problem as long as the computation time stays low.

Yay! You're awesome man. Having analyzed items saved will help me a lot.

How about this indicators? Do you have something in mind or something? Or maybe would like me to send you some ideas?

Thanks man once again for your hard work on this project.

Well, what can i say. I test new eve app, post in the original thread that i request some weird stuff, then after few hours it magically appears with the next update... Can I expect anything more?

G R E A T J O B

EDIT - I would love if CCP confirmed that I can safely use my passwords in order to log into CREASt authorization window. I'm too newbish for it. It shows that the website i log into has "Geo Trust" in the corner but i'm not sure if it's enough to be 100% sure.

You can use your own browser to authenticate - click the link you're given when you select external browser in the window.
