Sentry drone carriers are too powerful fix

There has been some complaints that sentry drone carriers are too powerful and I decided to dig in to this problem to see if I can find some thoughts of this issue.

1. Drones should be very vulnerable to ECM. This would open strategy option to launch ECM drones and immobilize enemy combat drones. Sentries could have the weakest defense against ECM. Successful ECM attack could also prevent you from grabbing your drone from space when drone is jammed.

2. All drones should have capacitor and they should require to use capacitor when firing their gun. This would leave them vulnerable to capacitor neutralizers. There could also be drone capacitor requirement when ship tries to pick up drones. Sentry drones could be the most vulnerable drones for capacitor neutralizers.

3. There could be option to set your drones to attack enemy drones as first priority. This would open drone warfare. ECM and energy neutralizer drones would automatically lock enemy drones and disable them if they can.

and the other 2 stupid, yes I call em stupid ideas too, which have been shot down before.

Can*t be more constructive then calling it for what it is, so you can do better next time.

In all three options, you'd be better off just shooting the damn things if you were trying to clear drones off the field.

Your options are inferior to bombs, or even to frigates.

If I remember correctly.. aren't sentries drones which sit still all the time? Therefore easily hit by anything?

Yes. And they can carry a hundred of them around at a time. Have fun shooting them while you get eaten.

remove sentry drones from all capitals

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

what is it with people on these forums it seams that when http://themittani(dot)com/ releases one of his Idea some sheep has to bombard the forums with said idea even if that idea has been discussed many times before.

some of the ideas/post's old mittens makes i agree with others not so much.

but t stay on topic make carriers only able to use fighters (for dps like they were designed for) logistics drones (as there giant logistics anyway by design) and EWAR drones such as ec300/600/900 (to help them brake locks of the buzzing frig that has them pointed)
