Nice changes.

Skills stuff is still missing a few simple things that are done much better in applications like EHQ - an example of which would be to show how long it would take to train to each level + cumulative from now.

Would also be nice to see how much training is required before you can inject the skill based on pre-requisites.

These improvements to the UI are decent but one I would love to see in the future is a little love for the nearly impossible to click overheat button. Just a TINY bit of enlargement would be go a very long way. Here is a small example that I threw together with my astounding Photoshop Paint skills.

keep it up guys!

I'm glad to see you are tackling the EVE UI usability issues.
Hopefully we can see some more iterations and improvements.

The corporation wallet tooltip definitely shouldn't replace the personal one, it should instead be an option to show BOTH personal and corporation. Being able to see the corp wallet balance at a glance will come in very handy, but not at the expense of being able to see my own.

So very much this. I'd imagine the average person who cares about their personnel wallet and corp wallet don't really give a rip about their AUR balance.

It's a meh'ish change, I guess, for corp alts... or people who just use the corp wallet as their own, but couldn't you remove the useless AUR hint and make it list personnel + corp?

Wallet Balance [ALT-W]
ISK amount
Corp Balance
ISK amount

A change like that would take the same four lines, and be vastly more useful to most everyone.

we who use scanprobes salute you =)

I like the wallet change, it's a good idea. I'm sure the wallet thing helps out the dedicated alts who are only used to pay the alliance bills and the like, but there are a lot of us who handle multiple corp divisions and personal funds on our mains. Having an all or nothing kind of option is very limiting and doesn't help us out too much.

An option to use one of "personal only, corp only or both" would benefit not just the "tool alts" but also the general corp funds users as well.

Is there any chance of squeezing the current corp division name into the popup? some of us deal with several wallet divisions and I suspect there will be quite some confusion at just seeing the amount of the "active one"... which one did I leave active when I logged off again?!

If you do put in a "both" option can you colour the corp and personal information so it's easy to see the difference.

1. did something happen to chribba? is he okay?

2. give us the option to take aurum out of wallet scrollover or make corp wallet replace aurum there or something. we get that you want to keep it there for your bullshit corporate reasons, but we don't need to be able to quick reference our aurum balance all that frequently even if we DO buy vanity items, and if you stay true to your word about the role of MTs in eve we never will have to.

One of my favorite UI changes for winter is that, instead of finding a skill you‘re already training in your list of skills to add next level to the training queue, you can now shift click said skill, and drag it to add next level to the training queue.

Things like this are great and there are probably a load of them in game that the vast majority of players don't already know about. Tool tips on hover would be awesome to have to know UI nice things like this, tool tips that can be deactivated naturally but still there is no point cramming new little features in if people don't know they exist.

I would really like a search function in the Skill Sheet.
With over hundreds of skills injected, it's hard to find which is which.

Punkturis, why are the wallet settings in a tab and most other settings (fleet/overview/mail/drones) accessed through the top-left window icon?

Yeah something similar to what you have in the contacts tab in P&P would be cool Big smile

I asked Soundwave, my BFF, to add it to our new and improved little things backlog

But you have the new and improved system info, and it looks the same in both map mode and not map mode Blink
You can see all the system names if you mouse over the colored boxes.

Any reason why you chose shift-drag to train another level of a skill instead of the standard shortcut of ctrl-drag for making a copy?

Other than that it all looks pretty awesome.
