There is no way to have a 3rd party holding the prizes given that CCP hasn't awarded them yet. However I will be enlisting a 3rd party to take possession of the prizes as we are gifted them from CCP, who will eventually be distributing the prizes. Effectively, this is us crowd sourcing the isk. And instead of doing it like a normal loan, we're having a bit of fun and running it as a lottery instead.

That was the fun part, its actually true that you wouldn't be able to secure prizes beforehand. Though I'm sure that you could have CCP work with someone like Chribba to actually set it up so that any prizes won are handed to a 3rd party for distribution if a smaller group wanted to try this in the future as a legitimate fundraising endeavour.

Well if it is a scam and it was dome on the forums we would be able to get bans against them and probably get them banned from future alliance tournaments
