Yep, that's our response. Primarily because when the FW exploit was done, it wasn't an exploit. At that point CCP had never made a ruling on abusing the average item price, so after weeks of market manipulation, they showed what could be done and reported it to CCP.

Now however it's already clear that abusing it is an exploit, so wheniaminspace should have done it once as a proof of conecpt, then reported it himself to CCP. Instead he chose to try to make billions from an obvious exploit, got caught and suffers the consequences, and pasta are going to cry for a very long time about it.

So yes, pasta tears, best tears.

edit: oh, and the fact that there was no manipulation, so the inflated price was a bug, don't you think that makes it MORE of an exploit?

Depending on the timeline that person was probably in Gents, but still some random person in one CFC alliance doesn't speak for all of us. I certainly don't speak for 4S, for Goonswarm, or for the CFC.

Don't quite agree with the statement as worded, but I agree with the basic message. Not a known exploit at the time, so he shouldn't have been banned.
This was a known exploit, and there are consequences for abusing those.

It's a 21 day, yeesh. They had grounds for a perma and clearly gave him a love tap. I don't know what anyone is crying about.
