I'm a recruitment alt.

About wormhole life:

Living in a wormhole is a great experience - you're completely reliant on yourself and your alliance mates. No crutches, no stations, no local, and no outside help or batphone hotdrops for either side. Wormhole life is the essence of EvE - Everything versus Everything! The hostile environment offers both the most challenging PvE in the game, and plenty of opportunities for PvP.

About us:

We are a corp in a wormhole alliance living in a C6 wormhole, looking for capable pilots who want to experience the adventure of wormhole life.

We're always looking for PvP, but in between engagements we run combat and exploration sites, including gravametric (mining) and ladar (gas), have excellent PI available and manufacture much of what we need, from pos fuel and ammo to T3 cruisers and capital ships. Our C6 wormhole offers the some of the most challenging PvE in the game, and excellent combat opportunities, from lone-wolf 1v1 to capital/fleet battles.

We are active across all timezones, probably most active 1800-0100 EVE time. The alliance has a fast growing US and AUS/NZ timezone component.

We strive for excellence in our activities, sporting a very good combat record, but we have plenty of fun as well, with friendly and active voice comms round the clock.

We have ship replacement programme for sanctioned alliance operations (PvE and PvP), and an excellent training and mentoring programme for new pilots, or just pilots new to wormholes.

Rewards in wormholes come from participation rather than experience or SP - it's our view that scouts are just as important as carrier pilots. We don't require a large minimum commitment of time; we all have real lives that have to come first!

We run armor tanked fleets with excellent logistics support - but don't let that put you off if you're a shield tanker! It's pretty quick to train up for armor tanking, and we make use of ships from all races.

About our ideal candidate:

The most critical factor is your ability to work in a team. Pretty much all activities in wormholes require teamwork, and how well you get on with others will be really important, both to how useful a pilot you are to the alliance and to how much fun you have. Voice comms are mandatory, and good fun! W-Space is a lonely and dangerous place; voice comms make it a little less of both.

At a minimum, you must be able to fly a covert ops frigate, have astrometrics 3, and cloaking 4. These skills are absolutely necessary to survive in wormholes, but they don't take long to train, so if you don't have them yet don't despair.

The ability to use tech 2 armor mods is really useful - Hull Upgrades 5 doesn't take that long to train, and will make you a lot harder to kill.

T3 cruisers are extremely useful in wormholes - they are extremely hardy, can do good DPS, are very versatile and have low mass, allowing them to slip through any wormhole. If you can fly a T3 it's a big plus - we produce them in the wormhole, and so can get you a very good deal. Our recommended fits use T2 gear, and are thus relatively inexpensive (although if you want to ride around with faction gear and a full slave set, that's up to you!).

The ability to use T2 cruiser class weapons for your ship of choice is very useful, but not essential.

Guardian pilots are useful, although we already have a good bank of logi pilots. Capital ship pilots are also very welcome, and wormholes are a great place to start using capitals if you are interested in training up. We build cap ships all the time, and occasionally get access to bring them in from lowsec/0.0.

Application:
If you've got this far, and you're still interested, then drop an evemail to Laas Tarn with a bit about yourself and an API key* - we require this both so that we can screen for corp theives and spies, and so that we can take a look at your skills and make informed suggestions about what you need. We will then get back to you with details of our voice communications server and we will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Been really busy since the last bump; took the new recruits to invade someone else's c6 wormhole, blow up all their towers and loot all their stuff. Chain cycling wormholes to retrieve the capital ships we looted would have been pretty dull, but a good group on vent makes it actually kind of fun.

Here's to more profitable destruction in 2012!

It seems I'm too busy having fun to keep bumping this post regularly. Oh noes. Lol

We're still recruiting, and working on getting the latest batch of new pilots up to speed whilst we plan another major PvP offensive. In the mean time, we're hitting targets of opportunity and making some decent ISK from PvE.
