Run all the missions for all 5 career agents at all 12 career agent hubs. Not only will you have enough money for a cruiser, but if you didn't reprocess/sell them, you'll have 3x destroyers for each race, 6x frigates for each each race, 24 Ventures, a few bazillion skill books, and enoughfaction standing with any race to do L2s.

Not as fast as PLEX, but in any decent frigate, it isn't much easier than the career agents.

Plus this way you manage to get a cr@pload of stuff scattered all over EVE which is a good start on being a proper vet. You will eventually be able to say things like " Hey I just collected and sold all the useless junk I had left behind in Stain and made 3 Billion ISk" .

Oh! I want to say that!

First I have to move to Stain though...

Where is Stain again?

I am currently flying with a Thorax and Vexor, due to shortage of essential skills, it is frigging painful, but i will solve it .

In EVE, the ships drive you.

Stealing mission loot is a lot faster than earning it, and you don't have to bother with messy standings or being a good person. Google yourself up some ninja looiting, fit up a scan ship and a loot ship, and have at it. Focus on missions with large wrecks or major faction wrecks (tags), If the mission bear shoots, run away. If you're feeling saucy, shoot back.

Agreed with the stealing mission loot from others. You'll want to go to a mission hub like Osmon and use Combat Probes to scan down structures and ships. Look for "Mobile Tractor Units" and battleships. This will land you in the mission sites with the wrecks.

Be aware players can shoot you if you steal their loot, and I wouldn't go for any while NPCs are still around either as an L4 NPC can instapop a frig in certain instances.

I bought my first cruiser, a Caracal, from the isk I made doing the Sisters Of EVE Epic arc. Lost my Cormorant in that campaign, had the isk, so stepped up to a Caracal.

Back in 2006 when I started Eve (on another character) this question would have had some serious legitimacy.

Back then you started with pittance of ISK and sp. So for a month or more you flew around in a poorly fit frigate with two low slots and two mid slots, AND YOU LIKED IT. WHOO HOO LOOK AT ME in my PIECE OF **** TIER 1 frigate with meta modules in the two low slots and two mid slots!

People would point at you and laugh and say "look at that scrub noob in his poorly fit piece of **** tier 1 frigate" and then they would destroy your piece of **** tier 1 frigate with the meta 2 and 3 modules you had scraped and saved so much to buy AND YOU LIKED IT!Evil

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, please give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.
