i was wondering if you guys had any ideas on how to make the launcher a bit more "multi-account friendly" thanks!

What more do you need than that it saves your additional account names?

it doesnt, you have to sign out, and type in your name AND password. It should remember all of your accounts and let you pick them from a drop down list, then auto-populate the password. This is just one of many possibilities to make it better.

to OP: if you only have 2 accounts, have one account launch thru the launcher and one account bypass the launcher. that way you at least wont have to keep retyping your username.

you bypass the launcher by using the .exe in the bin file

Save passwords? But I don't want my passwords stored in the launcher; that's what programs like Keypass are for.

It is already quite good since you can "quickly" relog between chars on the same account.

Several instances of the launcher might work.

i don't know, it seems quite ugly or badly made.. that drop down menu covers the password box every time you try to type in your account info.. something should be done to make it less "bulky"

Uhh...it saves all of mine, I just have to type the passwords...

I would be really thankful if ability to swiftly switch between characters on the same account was added. Current necessety to close the client and reopen it again just to modify some orders only add extra pain to many everyday tasks

an annoying thing is that when you select an account from the drop-down selector focus will remain in the account name field instead of switching to password field, so often you start writing your password in your account name field.
which is annoying and bad security.
another small thing, a "caps lock is on" indicator.

you could somewhat do that when launching directly your client bypassing the launcher but its not anymore possible afaik.

More than a few of you may not know that the launcher can be configured to stay open after the client has been launched. Switching characters on the same account becomes just a matter of closing the client and clicking "Play".

Aeh, the standart install ? I got multiple installs on different HDs, internal, external from different times. All use them same launcher and save Accounts (even the non-launcher window with direct start will save them once used). And no special options needed. If you got issues, maybe its due to your system settings, anti virus or whatever constantly deleting them.

I myself have everything deactivated in regards to the Inet, so I have to give access permissions every time, but the launcher still saves the accounts, so I guess its with your system, extra programs, not just inet settings.

Like I said, also works without the launcher with direct .exe start from, the subfolder.

@edit: ... heh, took you less time to find it then for me to write this ... couldn't you have done it last week ?!

well, if i use the option to not close the launcher, and then use the "switch account" option, my second account will not launch. i have to close the launcher and open it to launch my second or 3rd account

Must be some issue with you, I can start unlimited instances with the basic install. Just get kicked if I open more then the number of different accounts that I have ... still, I can open every second without end.
