Not very imaginative, but this is how I make it:

An ounce of vermouth, swirl it around to coat the inside of a chilled glass
Drop the vermouth into a shaker, swirl, and discard
2 ounces of gin (Bombay Sapphire for a gf), stirred (very gently now) and strained into the glass
Add a single olive

Close your eyes and take a sip. Tastes a bit like gasoline, doesn't it? Perfect.

.. now climb into a ship you consider to be the most fun and click undock.
