New "expansion" release schedule - bring back manual patching support

Some time ago the launcher took over all patching responsibility and support for manual patching was dropped, however I'd like to see it return:

Patching for me is an absolute pain in the rear end, every time a patch is released I have to download and re-install the entire client as the launcher is blocked from applying the patch by security software (I won't go into reasons why, but disabling the software is not an option, even for 10 minutes). While this has been incredibly annoying it's largely been something I've swallowed, because it was on average once per week, sometimes twice and it was a necessary extra hoop I had to jump through, in order to play. Crius has been followed by a patch almost every single day (not unexpected for any game following a major content patch), meaning I've spent more time downloading Eve in the past week, than I have done playing it.

While I accept major patches introduce bugs that need fixing, what I'm more concerned about is what this will mean long term, with major content patches planned for release every 6 weeks - am I essentially going to be forced to spend a full week, every 6 weeks having to re-download and install the full client on a daily basis?

While this isn't a widespread problem, a few google searches show that it's not just 1 or 2 people, it would be nice if CCP could bring back support for manual patching, at least if you guys intend to continue with the 6 week release schedule.
