Also I think CCP should come to SLCC and make a big annoucement or something or do a big technology demo showcasing how you can interconnect several different games into 1 universe. Dust, Valkrie, and EvE

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

This particular webcomis is relevant to the subject: US Battlecry: I'll sue you!

Tbh, I don't get this whole 'We gotta sue them!' deal, especially not when it involves estabilished stuff (both comic cons have been around for a while now haven't they?)
I mean, how long before some popular actor/popstar/famous person their lawyer entourage starts sueing people sharing the same name as them *because their name similarity confuses people* ?

From what I get, it's got so far that the lawyer entourage of companies & organisations send out cease & desist orders and open IP violation / copycat cases before investigating the matter even closely, resulting in some very hilarious (but if you think about it deeper, sad) cases they could/should never win (and when they did win, the result is just silly, owning the right to a common word?)

Well that complaint was first voiced as far as 1800's so it's not like anything is going to change. P

Under US law, at least, it's much easier to defend a trademark that isn't a standalone word, which is why you see so many businesses with cutesy misspellings in their names.

Also, you have to actively defend trademarks. If you can't show that you've been sending letters to answer every possible infraction, you can lose the trademark. Just ask Bayer about "aspirin," which used to be a trademark...

I expected some funny video of a neckbeard rage at comic con and all I got was something that appears as legal asshattery. I'm dissapointed.
