Great news for the founders of Twitch. Tip of the hat.

Twitch: what is it, and why has Google bought it for $1bn?

Don't use Twitch, and now that Google owns it probably never will.

part of it is so ppl can learn to play. Some will watch like star craft 2 players to get new ideas and strategies.

Others... well its kinda like a sports. I was born with no sports gene, I do;t get why its fun to watch guys/gals play a game. But meh

edit: as to why some people watch twitch... why watch other people play video games instead of playing them?

same reason as sports. do you play soccer 16 hours a day or watch it on tv every once in a while also?
