Suggestion related to all cloaking modules. Would like to have an audio cue when a cloaking module has been enabled and disabled. Special emphasis on the disabled bit :)

The slow fade into being decloaked is a cool effect, but I wonder exactly when I become visible to another pilot. An audio cue would clear that up nicely.

Well wrong forum, but once you get locked and shot at seem to be a good indicator and that does come with sounds as well Twisted

There is both an audio and a visual cue when your cloak timer ends.

Your shield and armor indictors change from white to red in a leftmoving sweeping motion.

This is accompanied by a schreeching kind of sound.

Many time right after this your screen goes completely white.

What more are you looking for????

apologies for wrong forum...

agreed those are great indicators, however when being sneaky near structures or asteroids an audible cue would be nice. Not bitching about the current mechanic, just curious about other player's opinion.

Your cloak goes from active to not active, I suggest you take a look at your modules.

there is a sound of it de-actvating already, its quiet but its there, the actual cloaking noise is mistaken for background noise 99% of the time. A good headset and you can hear it no problems

I am deeply surprised to see that a renter has started a cloaking thread that isn't about the obvious, but rather a fairly reasonable complaint about the jankiness of the cloaking UI. A heartfealt congratulations.

Unfortunately, you're playing EVE, so janky UIs are pretty much just the way it goes.

I plus 1 your suggestion... an indicator sound of EXACTLY when my cloak is deactivated and activated... as in when someone can see and shoot at me... and I can shoot at them... would be very nice.

also some visual cue about when all cloak aftereffects (cant target) ends...

furiously clicking ctrl+click till it stuck tend to be annoying after a while and distract from other things.

There should be an auto lock feature for declaoking ships. When you decloak you should only have to attempt targeting a ship once. When the time ends it should auto lock the requested target[s].

There should be an auto jump feature [hot key shift / j] that if you are uncloaked in jump range of a wh or gate you will do so if uncloaked by another ship.

There should be an auto warp function [hot key shift / w] that will auto warp you if you are uncloaked by another spaceship [player or npc].

There should be an auto avoid function [hot key shift / v] that auto pilots your ship around objects/clouds when cloaked.

There should be an auto kill function [hot key shift / k] that undocks your ship and cloaks it and uses d-scan and auto warp to celestials to continually hunt for targets while you enjoy a refreshing bubble bath (put some jasmine oil in too for that relaxing and soothing aura). You can come back and just check the kb to see how well you played the game while bathing. Of course there needs to be some form of drop down menu to select allowable ship types to auto engage.
