What is the first thing you loved about the game?

It was missions for me. They were all new to me and it was generally fun. Now it feels like a job just 2 make isk. Not that much at that. Now 2 make isk in empire, you have 2 do incursions. That's decent isk, but those are even more boring that mission's. At least your missions change. We need to eliminate concord and just make all space 0.0. Missions pay 20x as much.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

It's to not 2, you saved yourself 3 whole key presses...

Content wise your premise is flawed, missions are fine for making isk, and they don't require blingy pimpmobiles to do it. I dare say you don't need them to incursions either they seem to be the preferred ships when trying to get into an incursion fleet.

TL;DR, you're full of it

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Talk about a post from left field....

You are finding out one of the solid truths of EVE. Anything that doesn't involve interacting with people sucks, because EVE isn't the kind of game that entertains you, it's the kind of game that simply gives you a place to find entertainment or yourself.

I hear of solo pve players talking about boredom all the time. I never hear that same thing from people who do various forms of pvp and other means of screwing around with others talk of boredom. The same with incursions, the actual gameplay itself is boring because it's pve and pve is boring in every game but at least you have people to koke around with on voice comms.

If you really think this is true - you're doing EvE wrong.

The first thing I loved about the game were the ship designs. Eve is,hands down, a damned beautiful game.

Surprisingly though, it's the people that keep me playing Eve. I must be a masochist.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Back in the day, it was choosing your skills as part of that first character generation.

Then doing the Tutorials for two days...

It really cut down on the ADD types and instant gratification kids... EVE was so much better, because it was a somewhat different community of players, before the "Great Dumbing Down" began and all the spoonfeeding was added to attract a wider variety of players.

Good times... and the JUKEBOX was awesome ! ! ! ! ! !

How whiny and pedantic the people that post in GD are. What a gold mine of enjoyment it is.

I don't love anything about the game. It's a game. If you think you love something about the game, you really either need to A.) Learn the actual definition of the word "love", B.) Really...go OUTSIDE. MEET SOMEONE. GET A DOG, or C.) All of the above.

Love about EVE. I enjoy it. I love my satin shoes.
