Still getting random driver crashes... [FIXED]

I've googled and tinkered and i still get random crashes, the only surefire way i can get them is docking at a DED station. Beside that, i can get them while doing nothing in station, but i'm getting a hunch that it's the sidebar animations - i get a lag spike when the wallet blinks.

All driver and in-game settings have been tried, currently running without post processing, resource cache and DX9. Catalyst drivers are set to default and i've disabled as much of the catalyst AI as possible.

2 monitor setup, all accounts on the primary monitor, browser+spreadsheet on the other. (Yes, it randomly crashes with just one account, no browser)

Only other thing that is consistent is that i play with it windowed, maximized.

Are there any new tips or tricks to fix this? I'm all ears :)

Just had my second crash today, this time running fixed window. Was replying to a forum post when it happened while docked. Checked the temperature of the gfx card to make sure it wasn't due to overheating and it was running at 62 celcius (not clocked or tinkered with in any way)

Cache cleared on both clients, still crashing. Can't seem to find any logs or info - where should i look?

Got a crash, got it logged, retrieved dumpfile. Looks like it already uploaded it :p

Didn't show any errors logged, and i can't make heads or tails of the .dmp file.

I've underclocked my card to 50% on both gpu and memory, no crashes so far today, and it looks like it didn't crash when i left it overnight.

I *think* it might be the memory in some way, the client being ûber sensitive to that in some way. Will keep updating.

(my asus 7850 is factory clocked to 1Ghz gpu and 1250 memory)

I have a HD5670 and started experiencing random video driver crashes 3 days ago, after the Crius update. After updating to the latest AMD drivers, the crashes became much less frequent, but they still happen.

Drivers are up to date, and still get crashes. Almost none after DT, but a lot more as the evening came.

From the logs i could see the last thing the client did was with the wallet, and my wallet does blink a lot more during evening, so blink is off now. (I get lag-spikes when it blinks, no idea how any of this can be connected it's just a weird hunch)

Thanks to GM Smiley and his minions the source of the issue was found. A single driver file was outdated even though CCC said everything was fine and updated.

Drivers uninstalled, old locations cleared and then reinstalled. (The ones I had installed was from Asus, downloaded straight from Amd instead - remember to clean up after the old drivers, there are guides to this online)

All eyecandy on, DX11 on, both accounts purring with netflix or youtube.

GM Smiley - I owe you a beer for keeping my sanity *somewhat* intact. <3
