Currently it is at 100 m3, which is 10:1 compression ratio. I recall reading somewhere that with the changes to scrapmetal processing (max 55% refine on modules) that the new compression arrays were aiming for about 25:1 efficiency. Granted, I know we're comparing ice to ore, but I don't think it should matter that much. If my math is right, a volume of 40 m3 for compressed ice would be exactly 25:1.

BTW, I am totally digging the 66:1 compression ratio on Veldspare (the only one I checked). Curious to see how the other ones (compress ores) are...

OMFG! Am I NOT getting this compression facts straight????

Arkonor: 16 m3. Units to refine: 100. 100 x 16 m3 = 1600 m3

Compressed Arkonor: I am assuming it takes 100 units of Arkonor to compres into ONE unit of Compressed Arkonor. 3.08 m3

1600 m3 / 3.08 m3 = 519!!!

My comprehension of how this works is really off, or CCP really whiffed on the whole 25:1 goal of theirs. 519:1 is insanely cool, if that is right.
