Error on launch "Eve Online is Damaged"

I've downloaded fresh installers twice, same error both times after installing: "Eve online is damaged and should be moved to the trash".

This is on a new Macbook Pro, 8gb RAM, 500gb HD, 2.3i7, OS X 10.9.4. Its sitting next to an iMac running multiple clients with no issues.

Any recommendations?

Setting Gatekeeper to Open "Any" app rather than just those from Mac App Store resolved. My apologies for extraneous post.

I had the same issue. Gatekeeper was not a familiar term for me, but I found that it is the setting in the Security & Privacy section of the System Preferences. You have to change "Allow apps downloaded from:" to Anywhere.
