Are you actually reaching out explicitly to reinforce your confirmation bias?

And yeah, still curious: how has the market been nerfed?

Where are you seeing anything about market nerf?

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

OP: anyone who doesn't agree with me is trolling so I will ignore them to focus only on those that agree with me.

yeah.. thats a good way to have a discussion.

I run missions (not on this toon of course.. duh) and I make more money now then I did before. Is loot nerfed? yes. and it needed to be. gunmining shouldn't be a thing.

salvage down? well yes..so don't salvage. stopping to salvage hasn't been a good idea for some time anyway. blitz missions.

and omg. lowsec is being buffed.. that is terrib.. wait.. lowsec is still empty? oh.. well guess CCP isn't pushing people out of highsec then. As you can see from my tag I live in lowsec with this toon, and lowsec STILL has no real purpose other then fun pew pew and the odd lvl5 missions. If your idea of balance is to have a large section of the universe largely desolate then I dont know what to say.

highsec is fine. do i want to nerf it? no. do I want to buff it? nope. I think highsec is fine atm. little to no risk means you shouldnt make as much as people can make in say wormholes and low. and I can easily plex my accounts with just casual mission running in highsec so I honestly dont see the problem

It's all about balancing the risk versus reward. Highsec mission runners have been making way to much isk for years with hardly any risk. This is partly why you now have more and more gankers in highsec. This has been apparent to CCP for quite awhile because some shady individuals used to AFK farm missions, which brought the drone changes. Then people abused the drone salvage in missions, and it was taking away along with meta 1 drops. Now reprocessing is being nerfed because it isn't balanced.

Bottomline: CCP is finally getting around to balancing the game so the playing field is level, or so they say.

there are lots of things that have changed in the market even recently. I welcome all the viewpoints here. It is nice though that there are similar pilots and experiences to mine. I can quote numbers and individual items, but.. lol.. Frankly I don't see it being worth my time to do so. The prices currently are up, but lots of items have changed. Just do a compare and look. Also there are a lot of really well written posts in the Indi area of the forums as well. Frankly after almost a 1000 views and nothing productive really happening here I don't much care any longer. Obviously I've missed the plot.

Adding new ships and modules doesn't negate the fact that CCP has been nerfing high sec PvE for quite a while now in an attempt to get players to go into low or null security to facilitate more PvP targets.

The list of nerfs to high sec is extensive and much too long to list everything.

The war on 'Gun Mining' had nothing to do with fixing an unbalanced game mechanic or to bolster the Mining career. It's actually a facade, smoke and mirrors, an excuse to create more viable easy targets for gankers. Various campaigns such as Hulkageddon, Ice Interdiction, Suicide Ganking, CODE, etc, caused a massive decline of Mining ships in Asteroid Belts. Miners were working Grav sites which afforded a little bit of protection. Those sites had to be scanned down first and Dscan helped with early warning which made it tough for gankers to get easy targets.

Also since players were getting minerals from reprocessing loot drops there was no reason to get into a Giant Red Bulls-Eye target and mine Ore. Thus Soundwave & Co. started their war. The first to go was Rogue Drone loot, then loot drops reduced, then Meta Lv 0 modules replaced with Metal Scraps, more loot drop reductions, etc. Meanwhile Mining ships are - quote 'Rebalanced' unquote - Racial Frigate and Cruiser Mining roles are removed, the Venture is implemented and to insure plenty of easy targets, System Sensor Sweep is added showing Grav sites and Ice Belts which are turned into Cosmic Anomalies.

Anyway, I digress. Over the years I've watched Loot and Salvage drops get nerfed almost to the point of extinction. I remember back when the Noctis was first added to the game it needed cargohold expanders to hold everything. Now due to the extremely low amount of wrecks containing loot it's not even worth the time to use the Noctis. On average 1/5th of all wrecks contain loot and of those only 1/3rd will actually contain something other than 1x Metal Scrap.

There's been plenty of other nerfs to high sec such as level 5 agents being moved from high sec into low sec. The payout for Sansha Incursions in high sec was also nerfed. Hell, even exploration combat sites are scarce now which is supposedly attributed to a large amount of competition but I tend to think it's due to a reduction of site spawning, especially since all high sec exploration sites were added to low sec, thus another attempt to induce more players into low sec.

Enough of that, let's not forget about reduction of Research Points and and ISK sink / fee added to Data Cores. Now if you're involved with Factional Warfare in low sec then Data Cores are super cheap, as well as all their LP Store items. To entice more players into low sec the price of research slots in Factional Warfare systems (low sec) have reduced fees for use. There's even more buffs for FW but I'm getting off track.

The new ships, modules and mobile depots were all added to get more players into low and null sec systems which in turn would create more PvP targets. Unfortunately CCP doesn't seem to understand that regardless of how many nerfs they do to high sec or amount of Carrots they place in low sec, the majority of players aren't gonna go for it.

That basically brings us to the age old question that's been bothering CCP for a long time. And that question is Why? I already have a good idea what the answer is,..

By the way, don't even try to use the lame excuse of 'Risk Verses Reward'.

I won't use the "lame" excuse of Risk vs. Reward if you don't try and preach about how easy us Faction Warfare members have it, or how easy it is in nullsec. Deal?

Pushing by promising better rewards, but players agree to the nerf because they don't want to change system security status. Warm and cozy in hisec. You can't redistribute players evenly trough sec's because you need space ship battles that looks good in media. CCP asuming 99% players will be active combat PvPers? Wrong.

Spreaking about risk vs reward:

For instance, running Caldari or Minmatar FW missions in a stealth bomber can net me 2-3 bil isk in about 10 hours of mission running. The 2-3 bil isk is taking into account the LP to ISK ratio. The risk is fairly negligible, and if I do lose a ship, I'm not out that much isk.

Why they don't want those tons of ISK, why, oh why?

Anybody know, what is the profit from high end hisec anomaly comparing to high end one in null sec? I'm just curious about no risk and great rewards.
